The last clock is grinding down to crown all of the champions at the Arc World Tour Finals 2023, and it’s been an action-packed weekend so far.
As we approach the final conclusion, we’ve gone back and gathered the character usage breakdown for both Guilty Gear Strive and Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising for their last chance qualifiers, group stage and top 8 at the big event.
Starting out with Guilty Gear, we ended up seeing 10 different main fighter choices during the top 16 of the LCQ.
Anji actually ended up being the most popular among those finalists, however, none would quite make the cut to advance on to the top 8.
Considering there were 106 players signed up for those last two spots, this top 16 represents the best 15% out of those who competed in that initial tournament.
For the group stage, we’d again see 10 unique main picks where Happy Chaos would once again rear his head up top, but he would only have one fighter advance on to the last eight out of his three in the top 16.
The final top 8 bracket was about as diverse as you could technically ask for considering there’s 8 different mains up there with both Asuka and Leo being used as secondaries as well.
You can check out the full breakdowns for Guilty Gear Strive below, and keep going further down for Granblue.

For the finals, there were a total of five different mains where once again Nier was the top dog in terms of popularity followed by Siegfried.
