Ever since she was first revealed for Tekken 8, Reina almost instantly became a fan favorite in fighting game circles, and that goes for cosplayers too.
We may have just come across the most accurate Reina cosplay thus far, however, with Mercyuyu recently unveiling her latest endeavor online that’s been rightfully receiving some attention.
What stood out to us immediately wasn’t just her costume, but Mercyuyu was able to perfectly capture Reina’s facial mannerisms and poses like a true pro with that smirk and swagger.
That’s not to discount the outfit either since it too is spot on from head to toe it seems with a beautiful shiny jacket and gloves apparently made by Keiko Creation for her with all the stripes, zippers and straps from Tekken.
Although her wig looks perfect as well, she apparently recycled a previous black one and made it into Reina by gluing in violet wefts underneath.
So far she’s only released a handful of photos taken in her room, but promises to take it to conventions and get more proper shoots in the future too.
She also debuted her Reina cosplay on stream playing Tekken on Twitch as well as posted a video to her TikTok.

It doesn’t appear as though Mercyuyu has done much else for cosplay in terms of pure fighting game characters, but considering Nier Automata’s 2B has been in both Soul Calibur 6 and now Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, she’s gotta count too.
So as an added bonus, we’ve included her 2B as well because it’s also pretty darn perfect.
Like Reina, we just wish there was more of it.
