Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong has expressed his desire to attract more quality projects to Cross River South Senatorial District. This was stated during his inspection tour of Calabar Municipality, Calabar South and Odukpani.
Ekpenyong while on the inspection of projects in Calabar South, Calabar Municipality and Odukpani assessed the progress of work, and the interventions to be done, as well as felt the pulse of the people.
“No good leader can stay somewhere and believe all is well, that forms my conviction to embark on this inspection and assessment of projects to ask what you feel and what we are going to do next as a family,” he stressed.
He vowed to ensure all projects in the district receive the desired attention of the government through his constructive engagements with relevant ministries and agencies.

While in Ambo, a community leader, Ukpong Edet, described Ekpenyong as a notable and responsive leader, for providing lights to alleviate the plight of people in the area against crime.
He said since he emerged as the community leader in the area, many years ago, no representative of the Cross River South has affected their lives like Asuquo Ekpenyong.
In one of such expressions of appreciation, a landlord in Akim Akim, Chief Archibong Oqua eulogized the Senator for visiting the Community while praying for God to grant him the grace of serving the people and communities alike. “For us in this area, you are a worthy ambassador of the masses and downtrodden in government“, he said.
The Senator’s visit was well received by the residents, with community leaders praising him for his responsiveness and notable leadership.
