Renewed Hope Ambassadors to Meet with State Coordinator in Calabar Wednesday

In a move to solidify grassroots engagement and deepen public knowledge about the huge achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, especially as preparations for 2027 general elections gathers momentum, the Cross River State Chapter of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) is set to meet and formalize its local leadership structure.

The group, a dedicated political support organization, devoted to showcasing the President’s highly successful interventions in critical areas of infrastructure, education, stabilization of the economy and job creation among many others, will meet with the state Coordinator and Local Government Coordinators across all 18 LGAs of the state on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.

The RHA’s primary mission centers on deepening political engagement at the state and local levels to bolster the understanding of governance that will guarantee electoral success for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Bassey Edet Otu of Cross River State and indeed the APC at all levels.

According to the organization, the focus remains on information dissemination, intensive grassroots mobilization, strengthening internal party structures towards ensuring a seamless electoral process for the 2027 cycle.

The RHA aims to further educate the public on the Federal government’s thematic milestones such as the transformative Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project, the NELFUND initiative which provides interest-free credit to over 500,000 students nationwide, efforts toward economic stabilization, including the unification of the foreign exchange market (single currency window) and the removal of the fuel subsidy to redirect national resources.

In a statement by the State Coordinator of the RHA, Amb. Soni Abang, who also serves as the Executive Director of Finance for the South South Development Commission (SSDC), the meeting is scheduled to take place at the Metropolitan Hotels, Calabar, at 12:00pm prompt, with the Local Government Coordinators.
