The Red Bull Kumite is back again for Street Fighter 6 and it will be in New York, U.S.A. this time.

The players invited to the main event are Yesports|Chris Wong, RB|Gachikun, DRX|Leshar, Bandits|MenaRD, FLY|Punk, NASR|BigBird, Rohto|Tokido, SR|NuckleDu, RB|Bonchan, TM|OilKing, XSET|iDom, Falcons|Mister Crimson, Broski and SBI|Hibiki.

On the Saturday, there are two different qualification methods to make it into the main event. There is an open bracket Last Chance Qualifier as usual where the winner will make it in to the Red Bull Kumite, but there is also a separate bracket called the Red Bull Kumite Play-In where players have qualified from different areas of the world and will fight it out for one qualification spot.

The Red Bull Kumite Play-In will be fought between Zhen, NoahTheProdigy, Shine, Liquid|Nephew, 4TW|SpaceBoy, FAV|Ryukichi, SYG|Garnet and Kusanagi (the French player, not the Mexican player).

As has become customary for the event, the matches for the main tournament will be drawn on the day of and will be first-to-5 in a single elimination bracket.

Streaming is being done at Red Bull.
