“Life throws curveballs,” Johnson mused in Vogue’s February 2017 edition. She was reflecting on her break-up with musician Matthew Hitt, which had happened a few months prior, after a two-year romance. “I reckon I always carry a bit of heartache, even when I’m in a blissful relationship,” she admitted. For her, casual flings aren’t her style. Her emotions, even the positive ones, are so powerful that they can be painful.
She then playfully addressed the inevitable gossip surrounding her personal life. “Why not spice things up a bit?” she suggested. “Could we say I’m using this time to explore my bisexuality? Or that I’ve found religion after my trio of risqué films?”
Now, her daily routine involves considering Martin and Paltrow’s children, Apple, 19, and Moses, 17. Not to mention, Johnson’s extensive family, which includes two half-siblings from her mother’s side and four from her father’s. She also maintains a close bond with her former stepfather, Antonio Banderas.
