Real Betis are once more looking at Manchester United in a bid to strengthen their squad.
Back in the summer, Betis looked at a dual loan for United stars Christian Eriksen and Antony in a bid to bring more attacking options to the squad. Ultimately nothing materialised, but the Spanish side have continued to keep tabs on the talent at Old Trafford.
The LaLiga club currently find themselves in ninth, drawing on points with Real Sociedad, Girona and Osasuna, who are all placed from seventh to tenth.
Equally Betis are set to feature in the Copa del Rey’s Round of 16 against Huesca on Saturday 4th January 2025.
However, the club are looking once more to bring in talent to help them through the second half of the season.

Real Betis look to sign Antony
Spanish publication ABC has reported that Real Betis are now looking once more to sign Antony as the attacker struggles for game time at Old Trafford.
This season, Antony has made only 11 appearances with a singular goal against Barnsley in the Carabao Cup. Despite 11 appearances, Antony has only been given an average of 32 minutes on the pitch per game, with eight of the games having spent less than 30 minutes on the pitch.
It’s expected that United will look to make his departure a priority as the club are reportedly open to selling the majority of the first team squad.
However, Betis are looking to get hold of the Brazilian trickster as soon as January.
The Spanish side are reportedly looking to land a loan deal for the winger, suggesting a shared salary with United for the rest of the season.
The move comes as Antony’s wage demands are the real barrier to a permanent move, with Betis unable to meet them in their entirety.
It’s understood that the club have already reached out to Antony’s team to sound out a move, with the Brazilian’s entourage believing it could be a good step to relaunch his career.
