Yakurr born Cross Riverian and right activist, Chief Okoi Obono-Obla, has just been appointed the Special Adviser to the President on Public Prosecution. This has incited a lot of congratulatory messages from far and near. Notable amongst these congratulatory texts is that of a social commentator and economist, Missang Oyama. His words are to say the least, adorable! What follows are those perceived adorable lines:
*'Chief Okoi Obono-obla is eminently qualify to head the Public Prosecution Department of the current administration.
He is a senior lawyer with more than 25years cognate experience in the Nigerian Bar. The name Okoi Obono-obla sounds like enfant terrible to the immediate past administration in CRS because of his anti-corruption disposition over the years. Obono-obla is a fearless, dogged and outspoken fighter.
He does fit the bill as someone who has been a courtroom lawyer with a good nag for litigation. Again, as an anti-corruption crusader, the cap he wears today is his turf and forte; he'll sure make us proud.
Chief Okoi Obono-obla and I have had cause to disagree on a few occasions with regards to some policy issues of this government but I'm absolutely confident that he'll make those of us who are connected to him raise our heads above the waters at the end of his tenure. Be rest assured Chief that you've got my support in your drive to sanitize our country.
However, I'm sure we'll not fail to disagree(strictly on principles) as usual when there is a reason to do so. Once again, hearty congratulations to Obol Okoi Obono-obla, the great son of Ugep Eburutu and Umor Otutu Kingdom'.
Are these lines not adorable?
