According to reports in Italy, Manchester United have set their price tag for clubs interested in signing Rasmus Hojlund this summer.
The Dane arrived at Old Trafford in 2023, signed from Atalanta for an initial £64m, potentially rising to £72m if add-ons are met.
The striker arrived carrying an injury, and took time to adapt to the Premier League following his recovery.
In the Champions League, however, Hojlund hit the ground running, scoring five goals in the group stage, including one against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.
His first Premier League goal came in December 2023, and goals in five consecutive Premier League games followed.
Hojlund finished the 2023/24 season with 16 goals in all competitions, a positive tally for the young striker’s opening season.
This season, though, the 22-year-old has struggled to recapture his form.
The arrival of Joshua Zirkzee has limited the Dane’s minutes, scoring just three Premier League goals so far this season.
That failure to find form has prompted reports linking Hojlund with an exit from United this summer.
TuttoMercatoWeb, an Italian outlet, have suggested Juventus could be one of the clubs interested, and that Manchester United have set a price tag of £52m on their striker.
There has not been direct contact between the clubs, according to the report, but Hojlund could be a good choice for the Italian giants should Dusan Vlahovic depart.
The report also claims that United would not accept any suggestion of a loan move for the Dane.
In the event of Hojlund’s sale, United have been linked to multiple strikers who could replace him.
Victor Osimhen, Liam Delap, and Benjamin Sesko, are just a few of the strikers linked with a potential move to Old Trafford this summer, with Ruben Amorim keen to resupply goals into his forward line.
