Lore wise, Rashid in Street Fighter 6 is the type of character that really enjoys showing off his athleticism. One of his taunts really demonstrates this.
In a ranked match against a Master ranked Ryu, Hoji_FGC can be observed playing as Rashid. With the opponent trapped in the corner, Hoji_FGC managed to land a clean hit that transitioned from a combo into an Okizeme situation.
After parrying one of Rashid’s attacks, Ryu decided to continue blocking, most likely because they weren’t able to find the Perfect Drive Parry like they were hoping for. Whether accidentally or intentionally, Hoji_FGC opted to use Rashid’s taunt from a point-blank range away from his opponent.
On the Ryu player’s part, there was a noticeable pause as it wasn’t entirely clear what Rashid was doing at this point. Following this, Ryu went from a crouching medium kick, which Rashid promptly jumped over.
Surprised by this, Ryu then proceeded to back dash. Afterwards, they attempted a grab, which Rashid was able to low profile with the perfect timing.
Evidently, Hoji_FGC did not intend to dodge these attacks like this, so even he was surprised at this interaction. After Ryu was finally able to jab Rashid out of the sequence, they then gave a respectful teabag, acknowledging how cool that moment looked.
