The Special Assistant to the Governor of Cross River State on Non Indigene/Muslim Affairs, Alhaji Abdulkarimu Adamu, has urged all Muslim ummah in Cross River State to use this period of the holy month of Ramadan to pray for peace and the security of the state and nation. And also urged Muslim faithfuls to continue to pray for the government of Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade.
In a statement made available to newsmen, Alhaji Adamu, said the holy month of Ramadan should be a time of prayer, alms giving, love and compassion to one another.
'I enjoin all Muslims to rededicate their lives to the almighty Allah. And further pray for the growth of Cross River State, he said.
Alhaji Adamu stated that the government of Prof. Ayade is committed towards moving the state forward with the laudable projects such as the garment factory, super highway and the deep sea port which he said would ameliorate the sufferings of the people of the state.
He further called for peace and unity, urging Muslims to support the government of Prof. Ayade and also his programs and policies which he described as projects of deep vision.
