Kitana is one of the most beautiful and beloved characters in all of fighting games, and thus it’s not at all uncommon to see cosplayers take on the deadly Edenian princess. We’ve seen more than a few cosplays of Kitana over the years, and we have to say that 20 year old model, inventor, actress and National Champion Trampolinist Rachel Pizzolato might be the most beautiful of them all.
We’ve rounded up a handful of photos of Pizzolato’s version of the Mortal Kombat mainstay that’s closest to the Mortal Kombat 2011 (MK9) design.
The rich, royal blue of Pizzolato’s costume takes us instantly back to Kitana’s very first franchise appearance in Mortal Kombat 2, but the top and arm accessories more closely resemble the character’s look in MK9.
As many recall, MK9 was when NetherRealm Studios was at their most risqué when it came to female combatants, but the model covers up a little with some tasteful matching shorts.
Here in this first post you’ll find four total photos (be sure to use the arrows to cycle through them all) as it offers close ups. Miss Pizzolato doesn’t wear a mask in any of these, but we’re also not complaining as she does have a face fit for an Edenain princess.
For those of you who are mask sticklers, here are a few outside photographs with the cosplay fully intact. The blue/violet lighting from what looks like some Halloween decor is kind of perfect for Kitana.
Here are just a few more shots from a con, including a pair next to Uncanny Carlos’ massively impressive giant Goro cosplay.
If you haven’t already seen it, be sure to check out our showcase of Rachel’s sexy and flexible Chun-Li as she takes over the world of Street Fighter via her awesome artistic talents.
