It’s a bit early for Halloween, but it seems that Goh_Billy recently decided to start practicing carving out Jack-o’-lanterns. One such creation is Quan Chi from the Mortal Kombat series, who is even playable in the latest entry in the series, Mortal Kombat 1.
However, this recreation of Quan Chi is actually based on his first playable appearance in the series, Mortal Kombat 4. Notably, this captures the meme-worthy face that Quan Chi makes on the sides of Mortal Kombat 4 arcade cabinets.
Within the image in question, Quan Chi is giving off an intense death stare towards any onlookers. Amusingly enough, it’s impossible to actually take seriously.
All things considered, Goh_Billy has done a fantastic job of capturing the serious look that Quan Chi gives with that arcade cabinet. Indeed, this would be a Jack-o’-lantern that would immediately be recognizable for MK fans.
With the fire inside, Quan Chi can be observed emitting an orange hue, which is the natural result of carving a face into a pumpkin. No matter where the camera seems to swerve, it feels as though Quan Chi is keeping an eye on us, silently judging.
Unfortunately, this Jack-o’-lantern is unlikely to make it until Halloween since it was created in the month of September. Of course, it’s possible Goh_Billy might recreate the meme-worthy image into another pumpkin closer to October 31, 2024.

Lol, so I made a pattern and carved the infamous MK4 Quan Chi into a pumpkin. It won’t make it to Halloween but it was fun practice :). pic.twitter.com/h8EDHDki27
