Punk releases new tier list for Street Fighter 6 with only one character in the trash

Now that Street Fighter 6 has been out over six months now, the top players presumably have a much better picture of where the meta sits for the game and what’s actually really good.

Top competitor Punk recently joined Kizzie Kay on the Fighting Game Select channel to craft and break down his updated tier list for SF6.

Starting out with Dhalsim, Punk feels he still doesn’t quite know where to place him since he says that it’s rare to find a strong yoga user in the U.S. to butt heads with, but ends up in B tier.

That’s actually a bit higher than Punk’s first SF6 tier list from before Evo though E. Honda can’t say the same thing.

Interestingly, the pro’s not as down on Manon as many others are noting she has some of the best anti-airs in the game as well as more ways to rack up medals than most give her credit for.

Less surprising is seeing JP up at the top though Punk notes some aspects of him that others don’t talk about as much like his side-switching air throw and how good his heavy kick into punch target combo is, and there’s a lot more to say too.

As for his own character, Cammy ends up in A tier with what he feels is the best level 3 Super in the game even if her dive kicks aren’t as scary as past entries.

A.K.I. is at the bottom of the trash tier with Punk claiming she has the worst zoning in SF6 for supposedly being a zoner and difficulty of actually using the poison to her advantage.

You can check out Punk’s full tier list below as well as his discussion of all the picks with Kizzie in the video.
