Project L is a 2v2 fighting game that’s currently in development that’s based on Riot Games’ League of Legends. The revealed characters so far are Yasuo, Ahri, Darius, Ekko, Illaoi, Jinx, and Katarina.
A user known as Project L Intel (no official affiliation with Riot Games) recently posted intro animations for Yasuo, Ahri, and Ekko. Yasuo was used by both players in the clip, though his animations and lines were different.
Player 1 Yasuo began the match by mocking the opponent. “I wander, but you are lost,” says Yasuo.
“Are we hurting each other for sport?” inquired Ahri soon after Yasuo. Following this, Yasuo jumped in the shot, indicating that he was the starting point character for player 1.
As of right now, it seems that characters simply talk at each other rather than saying things that reference history or relationships. In other words, the intro dialogue isn’t based on which characters both players are using like with NetherRealm Studios games, though it’s possible that this could change.
