Description
The Program Operations Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising project execution to efficiently transform inputs into outputs. This role includes procurement, managing relationships with stakeholders, and enhancing resource sustainability. The Operations Team, which the manager leads, supports various departments by designing, implementing, and managing operational processes. Each Program Operations Manager oversees a specific area, identifying needs, co-designing strategies with management, and ensuring effective training, monitoring, and continuous improvement of programs.
Requirements
- Strong project management or organizational skills
- In-depth understanding of programming issues and policy work at state, national and international levels and excellent knowledge and experience of program planning, reviews, monitoring and evaluation is essential.
- Excellent language skills in English, including the ability to compose, edit, analyse and report using complex information.
- Proven experience in cross-disciplinary collaboration with various stakeholders and a track record of successfully leading and managing complex work programs.
- Ideal candidates should have experience identifying business challenges through data and observation and demonstrated proficiency analysing and managing large amounts of data.
- Have good interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Experience in scaling ideas and programs, working in ambitious organizations, and building and managing teams across countries.
