Job Summary
A Professional Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and courteous transportation of passengers in a professional manner.
This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to adhere to all applicable safety protocols.
Successful candidates should be able to provide an efficient and comfortable ride for customers.
Responsibilities
Transport passengers safely to their destinations
Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Maintain vehicles in clean condition inside and out, including refuelling as necessary.
Complete pre/post-trip inspections of the vehicle
Maintain records such as vehicle logs, delivery records, work orders, etc.
Always provide courteous service to customers.
Monitor road conditions, traffic patterns, vehicle performance, etc.
Ensure a timely arrival at destinations.
Report any vehicle malfunctions or needed repairs to the proper authorities.
Provide assistance with loading and unloading luggage as may be required.
Requirements
Interested candidates should possess an HND qualification
Minimum of 2 years experience as a professional driver
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to read maps, plan routes, and follow directions accurately.
