We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to oversee and manage the manufacturing processes within our company.
The Production Manager will be responsible for optimizing production efficiency, ensuring product quality, and leading a team of production staff to meet production targets.
This role plays a crucial part in achieving our company's operational and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.
Create and maintain production schedules in the factory, ensuring on-time delivery of products.
Implement and enforce quality control standards and procedures to maintain product quality and consistency.
Identify and resolve any quality-related issues promptly.
Manage production staff,
Oversee resource allocation, including labour, equipment, and materials, to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Continuously analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement lean manufacturing principles.
Lead and participate in process improvement projects to increase productivity and reduce costs.
Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize excess or shortage of raw materials and finished products.
Implement inventory tracking systems to improve accuracy and reduce waste.
Monitor production expenses and develop cost-effective strategies to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
Report regularly to senior management on production performance and key metrics.
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency within the production department.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Management) with a minimum of 5 years experience in the same role.
Proven experience in production management or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving, critical reasoning and decision-making abilities.
Strong knowledge and use of Excel is a must.
Agile and lean certifications are highly desirable.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Experience in maintenance is an advantage
The ability to apply data analytics in the interpretation of production reports to aid continuous improvement strategies is highly desirable.
