Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia’s love story has hit a sour note. The once peachy relationship is now heading towards a legal separation. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Porsha, has filed for divorce after 15 months of wedded bliss, as per legal documents obtained by People.
The couple’s journey began on the Bravo reality series. Porsha, 42, and Simon, 59, first crossed paths when the Nigerian-born businessman was still hitched to her former co-star, Falynn Guobadia. But, life had other plans.
Simon and Falynn decided to part ways in April 2021. Interestingly, it was the same month when Porsha and Simon’s love story started to bloom. The couple seemed to be in a hurry to take their relationship to the next level.
Just a month later, they announced their engagement. Porsha, at the time, said, “Yes we are crazy in love. I know it’s fast but we are living life each day to its fullest. I choose happiness every morning and every night.” She was all about happiness and love.
The reality star, who shared their love journey on their 2021 Bravo spinoff Porsha’s Family Matters, added, “He makes me so happy.” For her, happiness was the key. She believed that happiness was what mattered most in life.
