Operatives of the Adamawa State Police Command have arrested three suspected drug dealers and recovered substances suspected to be Indian Hemp and hard drugs.
Spokesperson of the command, who disclosed this in a statement on Friday, December 20, 2024, said the suspects were arrested during a raid conducted on a criminal hideout in Malabu, in the Fufore Local Government Area of the state following credible intelligence.
“The Adamawa State Police Command in its ongoing efforts to combat drug-related crimes. Acted on credible information, on the 18th December, 2024, conducted a raid on a criminal hideout in Malabu, Fufore Local Government Area,” the statement read.
“During the operation, three suspects were arrested, and substances suspected to be Indian hemp, hard drugs amongst others were recovered from them.
“The suspects are: 1. Shafiu Musa, 2. Idris Mohammed, 3. Bashiru Nasiru.
“All adults and residents of Malabu District, have confessed dealing in the global black market and illegal drug trade trafficking.
“The Adamawa State Police Command remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the state.”
