Rashid and Ed’s level 2 super arts in Street Fighter 6 are functionally pretty similar, but are generally used for completely different purposes. As it turns out, Ed has to be somewhat careful about using the Psycho Cannon as a reversal option as opponents can potentially use it to extend their own combos by continuously trading with it.
Needless to say, 4shika recently posted how Rashid can do this against Ed. It’s probably just barely practical, but 4shika notes that it’s not really a combo to be used by beginners.
If Rashid is able to jump over Ed right as he uses the Psycho Cannon, he’ll be able to extend his limbs just long enough so that he’s able to hit Ed and the projectile at the same time. Of course, Ed ends up being stunned for a longer duration than Rashid from the trades.
The sequence that Rashid uses actually ends up being fairly simple. After about three hits, Rashid must spend Drive Gauge in order to Drive Rush cancel to get himself back in range of the slow moving Psycho Cannon.
After spending all of his Drive Gauge, Rashid uses his level 2 super art to further extend his combo. Though Ed is launched into the air, Rashid is able to keep him in the combo with some air juggling moves.
By the end of the sequence, Rashid ends up switching sides with Ed, which positions him in the corner. The final hit of the combo ideally has Rashid finishing things off with his level 1 super art, but practically all level 1 super arts lack projectile invincibility…
