The Pilot Club of Andalusia recently gathered to practice their BrainMinders program, a special initiative designed to teach young children the importance of brain safety.
As part of the club’s ongoing commitment to community service, club members are preparing to present an educational program to local kindergarten students.
BrainMinders, a signature program of Pilot International, uses fun, interactive lessons and puppet shows to help children understand how to protect their brains from injury. The initiative covers essential safety topics such as wearing helmets, looking both ways before crossing the street, and avoiding dangerous situations.
This effort aligns with National Brain Awareness Week, a time dedicated to increasing public awareness about brain health, injury prevention, and cognitive well-being. The Pilot Club of Andalusia is proud to be part of this nationwide movement, ensuring that even the youngest members of the community learn lifelong habits for protecting their brains.
The club encourages parents, teachers, and community members to support brain safety education and spread awareness. Through programs like BrainMinders, the Pilot Club continues its mission of “Do More. Care More. Be More.”
