Everything has it own time, and surely the time for those daredevils is surely coming to an end. At least Calabar will come back to normal and national status “Nation’s Paradise”.
After the inauguration of the ‘Operation Show of Force’ by governor, Ben Ayade, some hideout at the Obufa Esuk behind University of Calabar (UNICAL) was burnt down by the State Security Adviser, Mr. Jude Ngaji and his security team on Tuesday July 12th, 2016.
The Bayside Shanties as it’s known was suspected to be a hideout for most criminals and also the area where a UNICAL lecturer and family were kidnapped.
