Days back, the Institute of Technology and Management (ITM), Ugep hosted a 3-day Entrepreneurial and skills acquisition workshop where students acquired skills such as:
- Cake baking,
- Cobbling of shoes,
- Making of ankara bags and accessories,
- Making of hair/hair dressing,
- Barbecue making,
- Laptops and Phone repairs, etc.
The environment created by the programme went a long way as students from the institution just in three days were able to do a lot even at the little expense of time.
Meanwhile, there’s also a Youth Empowerment and Skill Acquisition Programme which will be coming up soonest for all youths in Cross River State, and it’s free of charge. Stay focus and don’t miss this precious opportunity to acquire a skill.
