The Young Democratic Party, YDP, in Cross River State held its state wide primary election in Calabar, Cross River capital city NegroidHaven has confirmed. 
The primary election which witnessed the presence of representatives of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and the leadership of the party from Abuja in the person of Comr Adetula Adex saw the emergence of Mr Emmanuel Undie as the gubernatorial candidate of the party against Dominic Ogwoji come the 2019 general elections in the state
