Recently, the debate on Gender roles has reached the peak.

Often times than not, those who propagate and preach Gender Equality seems to misconstrue the import and the semantics
of the argument.

This error of theirs is due to what Prof. Asouzu (a renowned professor of philosophy from Unical), would call “the unintended Ethnocentric commitments” which is a product of the “ihe mkpuchi anya”(concealment) phenomenon that makes them rather than focus on Gender Balance (Equality), end up drifting into the dangerous philosophy of feminism.

For the purpose of conceptual clarification, I wish to state unequivocally that the central argument of most Gender vanguards rests on the thesis that 'what a man can do, a woman can also do'.

This to my mind appear satisfactory as against the extremity of the argument that “…a woman can do better!”.

In order not to bug you with the respective strands of Gender types, stereotypes and their attendant arguments, I shall therefore focus on the story before us.

Negroidhaven News desk has gathered that a young woman in her prime by name Aisha Bakari Gombi pictured above, has proven that a woman is also capable of engaging in all the technicalities of combat and warfare, which seems to have been considered by society as a 'Male thing'.

The woman in the picture has been dubbed as a fearless huntress in Adamawa state.

She is one of the hunters that has helped in the fight against Boko Haram insurgents. One who was actively involved in the courageous fight and chase of the sect away from Gombi and Mubi when they attacked.

Laying credence to an interview with  Daily Trust, Aisha informed that she was the  eldest child of a famous hunter, Bakari Gombi, she was born into a family of archers who hunted wild animals for sport.

The 30-year-old informed that
her hunting career began quite early as a teenager.

In her words:
“I cannot remember my exact age at that time, but I became a huntress as a little girl,”.

Her skill and success has earned her the title of : The Queen of Hunt in Adamawa. This feat is no doubt without discipline, forthrightness, Fortitude and Hard work. She is indeed a role model to her female peers as well as most of her male counterparts.
