A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Yeghe community in Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State, Vincent Elvin Eebee has been shot dead by suspected assassins.
Eebee who was also a senior lecturer in the Rivers State Polytechnic, now Ken-Saro Wiwa Polytechnic was trailed on his way from his office to Port Harcourt.
He was reportedly shot along with a 21-year-old first year female student of Mass Communication Department of the Polytechnic, identified as Miss Priye.
Eebee was shot several times by the gunmen.
