The amount of artistic talent we have across the fighting game community is still a bit baffling at times, especially when it comes to the wide variety of styles we get to see and enjoy our favorite characters in.
Japanese artist Petan is one of those whose sense of style stands out way more than most in the crowd with their heavy ink styles invoking many of the same feelings that Street Fighter 4’s art once projected — while doing more than just standing on their own.
Since we last took a look at their works, Petan has expanded out into other games and anime beyond Street Fighter 6 though the world warriors are still featured more prominently in the portfolio.
Moreover, it seems as though one of the artist’s missions has been to go through SF6’s Outfit 3 designs with their own unique style including Cammy, Ken, Juri, Guile, JP, Dee Jay and more, and they all look pretty fantastic.
We’re loving their new takes on A.K.I. and Ed as well as the newcomers for the game, but that Akuma is on another level.

Moving outside of Street Fighter, Petan has also apparently gotten caught up in enjoying Tekken 8’s Reina as well with multiple portraits made for her that would look amazing as posters or on a canvas.
You can check out a collection of some of Petan’s recent fighting game works below, and there’s so much more to be found on their X/Twitter page.
