Job Summary
The position offers an exciting challenge and career opportunity for someone with a couple of years’ experience within Short Term insurance looking to join an established broking team within an market leading insurance broker.
This is a full time role and you must be able to attend the office a minimum of 3 days a week.

We will rely on you to:
- Provide Broking Services.
- Attend strategy meetings and/or renewal meetings.
- Preparation / Finalisation of Broking documentation.
- Identification and selection of appropriate markets.
- Distribution of Broking Notes to the market.
- Negotiating with Markets for best deals.
- Implementation of placement strategy on high complexity accounts.
- Collation of market terms and quotes for submission to client services.
- Preparation / Finalisation of Placing Slips.
- Closings to markets / obtaining market confirmation of cover.
- Confirm final placement / changes and Endorsements.
- Work with the Operations team to issue accurate policy schedules.
- Preparation of other broking documentation as required.
What you need to have:
- Demonstrable experience in short term insurance and/or commercial and/or corporate insurance broking.
- FAIS and CPD compliant
- Knowledge of the principles of risk management
- Certificate in Insurance or commenced studying towards AIISA an advantage
- Insurer relationships an advantage
- Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Conversant with insurance legislation
- Excellent communications skills – English and local language verbal and written.
