Perfect Storm 2025 is going on this weekend in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Notable players participating include DEUS|Incendiate, Iago|Ryazo, Zykles, BigDomChurros, 801 Strider, TestYourLuck, Slice, AFAS|Chris D, Mortsy, Walnutcon, Freeseff, BoosterBlast, DTR|Kagari, YCR|Pok8, Essay, Glacial and more.
Street Fighter 6 is leading the charge in entrants with over 60 followed by Tekken 8 which surpassed 50 players. Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, Guilty Gear Strive, Under Night In-Birth 2 [Sys:celes] and BlazBlue: Central Fiction all crossed the 30 participant mark.
The rest of the main tournament lineup consists of King of Fighters 15, Soul Calibur 6, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Akatsuki Blitzkampf: Ausf Achse.
There are also plenty of side tournaments including BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Vampire Savior (Darkstalkers), Guilty Gear XX Accent Core +R, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Melty Blood Type Lumina, Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code, Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike and a Mystery Game Tournament.
Streaming is being done at Krackatoa, Battle City Ottawa, DowntownRumble and MTL Airdashers.
