Payroll Administrator




Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including allowances, deductions, and transfers
  • Process monthly reconciliations, third-party payments, and salary calculations
  • Address payroll discrepancies and employee queries while maintaining confidentiality
  • Support equity linking, sectoral legislation compliance, and system improvements
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure timely report submissions
  • Identify process efficiencies and implement payroll best practices

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or a related field (advantageous)
  • 2 years’ experience in payroll processing
  • Previous experience with working on the SAGE People 300 system (advantageous)
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Payroll regulations and Labour laws
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid Driver’s License (Code 08)
