Patrick Mahomes is a man who never lets a chance slip by to appreciate his wife, Brittany Mahomes. His victories, he insists, are as much hers as they are his.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, when he was honored with the Most Valuable Player trophy at the 2023 NFL Honors, didn’t miss a beat. He took a moment to shine a light on his real MVPs. His wife, Brittany, co-owner of Kansas City Current, and their two adorable kids, Sterling and Bronze.
Brittany, 28, and their two little ones, Sterling, 2, and Bronze, 14 months, are his rock. “To my wife, Brittany, my baby girl, Sterling, and my son, Bronze,” he began. He then went on to express, “this wild ride we’re on, it wouldn’t mean a thing without you guys keeping me grounded, reminding me to cherish every single day.”
He continued, “No matter how I feel coming home, y’all bring me joy and make me appreciate the time that I get to spend with y’all.” His words, spoken last February, were heartfelt and sincere.
But it’s not just Mahomes, now 28, who’s thankful for their winning partnership. The former professional soccer player, who’s been with him since high school, shares the sentiment. And so, their victorious relationship isn’t just a one-sided affair.
