Senator Owan Enoh called on them to take charge, dominate and conquer the ‘Feisty Lucy’ of Ethiopian.
“Make full use of the home advantage, the cheers, the applause, the support and give us the much needed win,” he said.
Senator Owan Enoh charged the girls to make the win a welcome gift to the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Administration, being their first match in the country since the inception of the present administration, adding that he will personally celebrate the victory as a gift to him.
“Even though we are in the race for qualification, I will be excited if the Super Falcons can beat Feisty ‘Lucy’ in today’s match for the generality of Nigerians, as we celebrate this new phase of our sports,” he said.
He therefore called on sports loving Nigerians, not to only pray for their success but also come in their multitude to watch the match, adding that Nigeria is solidly behind them.
