  • It Couldn’t be Clearer, Democrats are Pro-crime and Anti-American

Democrats are vowing to pile into an El Salvadoran hotel to lobby for the return of MS-13’s allegedly wife-beating human trafficker, Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

Democrat Sen. Christopher Van Hollen, Jr., a trailblazer, is already in El Salvador and has met with the recently deported illegal alien. The two traded loving glances while conversing over cocktails.

Van Hollen appeared especially smitten, at one point placing his hand on Garcia’s while staring longingly into his eyes.

It should be noted that Democrats could not be bothered to fly to Russia or Gaza and other such places on behalf of Americans held hostage.

Nor could they be troubled even to travel to western North Carolina to in anyway assist, aid, or assuage the feelings of their fellow American citizens who had recently been devastated by a massive hurricane.

Just as they couldn’t find the time to visit East Palestine, Ohio after a train derailment spewed toxic chemicals across land and water, devastating the area for years to come. (This is particularly odd, since we all know Democrats love Palestine.)

As is the case with so many things with which Democrats get involved, this has become a repulsive, never-ending, clown show — a sort of kabuki theater for the mentally challenged and morally impaired.

On a related note, Democrats are wigging out over Health and Human Services Secretary RFK, Jr.’s comments that we will soon know what causes autism, which he thinks is likely largely due to environmental factors like vaccines and contaminants in food and beverages rather than genetics.

Democrats would be devastated if studies did happen to conclusively show that autism is more common in the highly vaccinated, and so are blasting RFK, Jr.’s comments and assertions.

They would clearly prefer that autism continues apace rather than potentially find out that there are simple steps that could be taken to prevent it.

So, Democrats are now effectively pro-autism as well as pro-crime, abortion, death, torture, rape, destruction, human trafficking, and wife-beating. And, in some cases, pro-assassination of their own nation’s president. This while simultaneously being anti-American and anti-Christian.

Nice platform, guys! You must be very proud, indeed.

  • Wike To Open Up Abuja’s Satellite Towns With New Roads, Schools

The minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr Nyesom Wike, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to bridging the infrastructural gap between Abuja’s city centre and its surrounding rural communities.

Wike made this known on Saturday during an inspection tour of ongoing road projects in Ketti and Takushara, two densely populated satellite communities within the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC).

The projects, which include the Kabusa/Ketti and Kabusa/Takushara roads, are expected to ease travel, boost local economies, and improve residents’ quality of life.

The projects inspected include the 10.5-kilometer Kabusa/Ketti road, which connects Kabusa, Pyakasa, and Ketti Districts, and the 9.8-kilometer Kabusa/Takushara road linking Kabusa, Takushara, and Wasa Districts.

Speaking after the inspection, Wike explained that the initiative aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s directive for inclusive development across the FCT.

“Mr President has always emphasised that we should not only concentrate development in the city but extend it to the satellite towns,” the minister stated.

He noted that the Ketti and Takushara roads, which will serve as vital arteries between the satellite towns and Abuja city, are expected to be completed and commissioned in May, as part of activities marking President Tinubu’s second year in office.

Wike commended AMAC Chairman, Mr Christopher Maikalangu, for drawing attention to what he described as “two very important roads” for the growth and wellbeing of the communities.

“If not for him, we wouldn’t have focused our attention on these areas. You can see how happy the residents of Ketti are,” Wike said.

The minister highlighted the strategic value of good road networks in driving rural development, improving connectivity, and reducing urban congestion.

“From here to the city is just about 10 minutes. That’s what road networks bring. It will open up the entire place,” he said.

Wike explained that such projects would encourage migration from the city centre to the outskirts, and foster property development in satellite communities, and ultimately ease pressure on urban infrastructure.

The minister disclosed plans to improve the quality of life for rural dwellers with the construction of new schools in Ketti and Takushara.

“We promised the communities that we would build more schools; the file is still on my table. I have approved it and we are waiting for the passage of the 2025 FCT Statutory Budget by the National Assembly to commence construction,” Wike stated.

He also emphasised that the FCT Administration’s focus would remain on providing infrastructure that benefits the broader public, rather than serving private estates.

In his Easter message, Wike called on FCT residents to embrace forgiveness, love, and unity for national cohesion.

“Nigerians should work together for the interest of all, and the FCT Administration will remain committed to fulfilling its promises,” he said.

  • Giants make first transaction, put Schmitt on IL, call up Villar

The Giants made their first roster move Saturday, putting infielder Casey Schmitt on the 10-day injured list with a left oblique strain.

Schmitt was announced as the starter Friday night, but was scratched in favor of LaMonte Wade Jr.

“It happened right before the game, hitting in the cage, probably 25 minutes before the game,” Giants manager Bob Melvin said following a 2-0 loss to the Los Angeles Angels.

Infielder David Villar was promoted from Triple-A Sacramento to take his place.

It was the first transaction of the season for the Giants, which under president of baseball operations Buster Posey have attempted to bring more stability to the big league club both in terms of the lineup and sending players to the minors. It has paid off so far with a 13-7 record going into Saturday night’s game against the Angels.

Last season by April 19, the Giants had made six roster moves.

Schmitt has played primarily first base this season on days when LaMonte Wade Jr. is rested. HIs defense has been a pleasant surprise, but Schmitt was hitting just .174 (4-for-24) with no homers and two RBIs. Wade has been in a horrible slump since the season started and going in to Saturday night’s game against the Los Angeles Angels is hitting .096 (5-for-52) with a homer, seven RBIs, eight walks and an on base percentage of .213.

Villar was hitting .368 in Sacramento wit a home run, seven RBIs, 13 walks, a .439 on base percentage in 15 games. After 23 games in the spring, Villar was designated for assignment before the start of the season and outrighted to Sacramento on March 29.

Like Schmitt, Villar has position versatility, having played 44 career games at third base and 27 each at second base and first base.

The other option at first base for the Giants Wilmer Flores, who has been exclusively a designated hitter so far and leads the National League with 23 RBIs to go along with six home runs and a .225 batting average.

The Giants also transferred outfielder Jerar Encarnacion (wrist surgery) to the 60-day injured list.

    Webb’s `wasted’ gem

Right-hander Logan Webb got his first loss of the season on a night where he struck out 12 batters and walked no one, giving up one earned run in six innings.

“Feels like a wasted pitching effort,” Melvin told reporters. :He gives up one earned run, punches out 12, doesn’t walk anybody. That’s a really good performance.”

According to Elias Sports, Webb became just the fourth Giants pitcher since the pitcher’s mound was moved to its current distance in 1893 to have 10 strikeouts and no walks. He joins Madison Bumgarner (12 times), Tim Lincecum (five times) and Juan Marichal (four times).

“I look up to those guys,” Webb said. “Any time you’re on a list with those guys you’re doing something right.”

Although seldom breaking 95 miles per hour in velocity, Webb generated 16 swings and misses with a sinker, change-up and sweeper. In 30 innings, Webb has 38 strikeouts and a 2.40 earned run average.

He struck out Angels’ slugger Mike Trout three times.

“Mike Trout likes the ball down and Logan’s a down pitcher, but there’s subtle movement both ways now,” Melvin said. “There’s big movement with the sweeper and he pitches in the zone up enough too. Another feather in his cap tonight.”

While Webb admitted he’d trade efficiency for strikeouts — lamenting the amount of pitches he missed by a wide margin while ahead in the count — he was encouraged by the the movement on his change-up.

“I’m super excited about the change-up,” Webb said. “It’s the most confident I’ve felt in a long time on that pitch, back to the end of 2023. I’ve got to keep trusting it, keep that confidence.”

  • ‘Criminal Minds’ stars Zach Gilford and Kiele Sanchez are getting divorced

Actors Zach Gilford and Kiele Sanchez, who portrayed a married couple on the crime drama Criminal Minds, are officially separating after more than a decade of marriage. Gilford filed for divorce on Friday, ending a 12-year union with Sanchez, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

The filing cites “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, with the date of separation yet to be determined. Gilford, best known for his role as quarterback Matt Saracen on NBC’s Friday Night Lights, is requesting joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s two children, Zeppelin, 7, and Revel, 4.

He has also indicated willingness to provide spousal support, though it remains unclear whether a prenuptial agreement exists between the two actors.

Gilford and Sanchez were married in December 2012. They later shared the screen on Criminal Minds, where Gilford played serial killer Elias Voit, and Sanchez portrayed his wife in a recurring role.

  • BREAKING: New Terrorists Group Mahmuda Launches Fresh Attack On Kwara Community

A terrorists group known as Mahmuda has launched a fresh attack on Duruma village (Karonji) in Baruten Local Government Area of Kwara State.

The incident occurred on Friday evening, multiple sources told SaharaReporters.

It was learnt that on arrival at the village on motorcycles, members of the group started shooting indiscriminately.

The terrorists also burnt a vehicle and some motorcycles belonging to a local vigilante group in the community.

Following the development, residents are worried about additional attacks in the area.

“This was what the Mahmuda boys did yesterday in the Duruma village. Two of the militants were killed during the attack as well,” a resident told SaharaReporters.

“The militants were only able to set fire on motorcycles and a car belonging to our local security operatives. They were repelled by them.”

SaharaReporters recently reported how the new terror group which emerged in the North Central part of Nigeria had been terrorising residents of rural communities around the Kainji Lake National Park (KLNP).

The affected communities are in Kaiama Local Government Area (Kemaanji, Tenebo, Baabete, Nuku, Nanu) and Barutein Local Government Area (villages in Yashikira District), both in Kwara.

According to multiple sources, the group had also taken over communities in Babana and Wawa District in Borgu Local Government in Niger.

SaharaReporters also exclusively reported how the militants attacked a vigilante group last Wednesday in Kemanji, killing over 15 members and villagers.

“They called themselves Mahmuda group. Their leader in a voice note is threatening all the communities. They kill and kidnap victims and also demand ransom,” one of the sources had said.

Another source added, “The surge of insecurity in Nigeria has been a source of concern to the citizenry because of its destructive factor to livelihood, and unfortunately, new militant groups continue to emerge and occupy the ungoverned spaces in the country.

“With the Kainji Lake National Park left unguarded, the loggers, fishermen, and hunter groups take the opportunity and start enjoying the common good of the citizens for their personal gain,” the source said.

“At the beginning there was a clash between the loggers and the militants as well as the vigilantes, but the loggers negotiated with the militants, and the loggers gained access to the forest to harvest trees without any hitches and this as well serves as the biggest opportunity for the militant to make money through the logging activities.

“Currently, the community of Kainji National Park (KLNP), which includes Kaiama LGA (Kemaanji, Tenebo, Baabete, Nuku, Nanu) and Barutein LGA (villages in Yashikira District that share a border with the park), all in Kwara State, part of Babana and Wawa District in Borgu LGA in Niger State, have been under siege for years, and the world does not know what is happening to the Borgawas (Borgu people).

“The militants occupied the park visibly over five years ago when they raided the park and chased the Range Guard out of the park. They migrated from Mokwa LGA when they were chased away by the then Governor of Niger State, Muazu Babangida Aliyu. He accused them of being members of Boko Haram.

“Upon their eviction from Mokwa LGA, they relocated to a village called Welele in Kaiama LGA. The local government authority, with the collaboration of the security forces, forced them out of Kaiama LGA. Following their eviction from Kaiama, they relocated to the Kaduna State forest. The same group, well-armed, resurfaced in the national park, and became a monster.

“Thus, who are these new militant groups? Some people claim that the militant group came from the Benin Republic or Niger Republic. This claim is also similar to a report from BBC Radio that there was an influx of militant groups to Kainji Lake National Park. Further study of them will reveal the true identity of this faceless group.

“However, a recent audiotape record from the militant claims to be a moderate Islamist, this assertion confirms that they are a sect of Boko haram that broke away from the Shekau-led extremist group. Regrettably, the locals are gradually being recruited into their ranks as informants. They referred to themselves as the Mahmuda Group or Mallam Group, their leader’s name and a jihadist fighting to promote the cause of the Sunni group.

“The militant group mainly speaks Hausa. The saddened reality is that the activities of these militants, controlling a vast territory of 3970.29 sq. km of the Nigerian state, have resulted in the community members living at the mercy and dictates of the non-state actor. Living at the mercy and dictates of the militants manifests in a number of ways.

“First, the herders within the park pay dues (zakah) to the militants to allow them to graze their cattle. Second, the farmers to whom the militant allocates farmland within the forest also pay farming levies to the militants. Third, the militants forced the residents to work on their farm as sadaka. Fourth, members of the community are kidnapped and made to pay ransom. Fifth, illegal mounting of roadblocks along the community, and regulating the social activities, particularly the sale of alcohol and all forms of smoking, and even settling disputes among the community’s members.

“Sixth, the militants threaten the existence of herbalists that they assume are fortifying the community vigilante members to confront them. Unconfirmed reports also have it that the Mahmuda Group or Mallam Group is into illegal mining in the park environment.

“In their plot to deceive the people with religion, they timely gather community members to preach about Islamic ethics as well as persuade community members to be disloyal to the Nigerian state and also instruct that any disputes within the community must be reported to them.

“The loss of trust in the security agent to address the insecurity challenges in the area makes the vigilante group work hand in hand with the Mahmuda Group to rescue kidnapped victims from the bandits. The group was able to force out all the bandits from the park area, and their collaborators within the communities were kidnapped to their place, and ransom was collected, or those judged to be more involved in the act of banditry were slaughtered.

“The assumption among the locals is that the militant group present in the National Park is known to the authority above, but by whom? Guess time will tell. To some, it’s simply because of the sophisticated weapons in their possession, which makes it practically difficult for them to be dislodged from the national asset.”

How to Play Connections: Tips & Tricks to Solve the Puzzle

Given the fact you’re here, chances are that you already know how to play NYT Connections. As you might be able to tell by now, Connections by The New York Times is a word association game where players sort out 16 random words into four categories by finding a common ‘connection.’ This can be anything from a common sound to a deeper meaning.

That said, if you’re still confused, here are the best tips on how to play NYT Connections:

    • Simplicity is key: Connections will often throw ambiguous words at you. While it’s easy to get caught up in the details, the answer almost always lies in the simplest connections possible. So, instead of dear and deer being connected through a hunter-prey dynamic, they most likely connect because of a similar sound.
    • Watch those guesses: A key thing to note is Connections only gives you four chances in 24 hours for a single puzzle. As such, we advise not being trigger happy and carefully weighing in your words before pressing that submit button.
    • Shuffle Away: While a bit tricky, the sneaky Connections editor deliberately puts the first word placement as a misdirection. So the one golden tip here is to press that Shuffle button before you go on solving it.

If you’re still unsure how to proceed, check out our dedicated how-to-play NYT Connections guide for all the help you need.

We hope you had similar luck as I did for today’s game. If not, please let us know in the comments below!

The Lagos State Police Command, the Labour Party’s former presidential candidate, Peter Obi’s poster boy was remanded in a correctional facility for committing various offences in the Amukoko area of the state.

The boy, 18, became popular during the 2023 presidential election for standing in front of the LP candidate’s convoy.

The command’s spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, made the clarification in a statement on Saturday in Lagos.

He said the boy was involved in violent attacks and public disturbances.

He added that the boy caused extensive damage to public and private property and injured persons standing by in the Amukoko area.

The statement read: “The command is aware of public concerns surrounding the case of an 18-year-old who was remanded to Correctional Service, following his involvement in various crimes.

  • White House Unveils Massive Report On The True Origins Of C-19

White House Unveils Massive Report On The True Origins Of C-19

An in-depth look at how Dr. Anthony Fauci and US intelligence agencies suppressed the lab-leak theory behind COVID-19

(ZeroHedge) – The Trump administration on Friday published an in-depth look at how Dr. Anthony Fauci and US intelligence agencies suppressed the lab-leak theory behind COVID-19 for political purposes.

“Public health officials often mislead the American people through conflicting messaging, knee-jerk reactions, and a lack of transparency. Most egregiously, the federal government demonized alternative treatments and disfavored narratives, such as the lab leak theory, in a shameful effort to coerce and control the American people’s health decisions,” reads a new White House webpage.

And while we’re still waiting on those pre-dawn raids – i.e. any semblance of accountability, today’s disclosure from the White House is a breath of fresh air over a ‘theory’ that sites like ZeroHedge and The Federalist were punished for suggesting. Millions in ad revenue evaporated after USAID-funded censorship organizations began public character assassination campaigns in conjunction with MSM outlets – all in an effort to cover up the truth.

To wit, within 48 hours of a Fauci underling flagging a ZeroHedge article for review, we were banned from Twitter following an BuzzFeed hit piece by a reporter who was subsequently fired for plagiarismIn the ensuing weeks we were banned by Amazon and Google’s ad platforms over content that had never been an issue until that point (and while we’ve made up with Google, Amazon continues to blacklist ZeroHedge – probably for continuing to make fun of Jeff Bezos’ dick-shaped rocket playing second fiddle to SpaceX).

Months later, Twitter restored our account – citing an “error” (as lab-leak evidence coincidentally began to pile up elsewhere).

To keep the lights on, ZeroHedge launched our premium service – and more recently, the ZH Store, where loyal readers routinely cause us to sell out of hats, shirts, knives, and the unsurprisingly popular ZeroHedge multitool. Needless to say, we appreciate your support.

    Diving Right In

Today’s damning release from the White House goes into extensive detail about the COVID-19 coverup by key players.

    1. The virus possesses a biological characteristic that is not found in nature.

    2. Data shows that all COVID-19 cases stem from a single introduction into humans. This runs contrary to previous pandemics where there were multiple spillover events.

    3. Wuhan is home to China’s foremost SARS research lab, which has a history of conducting gain-of-function research (gene altering and organism supercharging) at inadequate biosafety levels.

    4. Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) researchers were sick with COVID-like symptoms in the fall of 2019, months before COVID-19 was discovered at the wet market.

    5. By nearly all measures of science, if there was evidence of a natural origin it would have already surfaced. But it hasn’t.

“The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2” publication – which was used repeatedly by public health officials and the media to discredit the lab leak theory – was prompted by Dr. Fauci to push the preferred narrative that COVID-19 originated in nature.

    GAIN-OF-FUNCTION RESEARCH:

A lab-related incident involving gain-of-function research is the most likely the origin of COVID-19. Current government mechanisms for overseeing this dangerous gain-of-function research are incomplete, severely convoluted, and lack global applicability.

    ECOHEALTH ALLIANCE INC. (ECOHEALTH):

EcoHealth — under the leadership of Dr. Peter Daszak — used U.S. taxpayer dollars to facilitate dangerous gain-of-function research in Wuhan, China. After the Select Subcommittee released evidence of EcoHealth violating the terms of its National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) commenced official debarment proceedings and suspended all funding to EcoHealth.

New evidence also shows that the Department of Justice (DOJ) has opened an investigation into EcoHealth’s pandemic-era activities.

    NIH FAILURES:

NIH’s procedures for funding and overseeing potentially dangerous research are deficient, unreliable, and pose a serious threat to both public health and national security. Further, NIH fostered an environment that promoted evading federal record keeping laws — as seen through the actions of Dr. David Morens and “FOIA Lady” Marge Moore.

    HHS OBSTRUCTION:

The Biden Administration’s HHS engaged in a multi-year campaign of delay, confusion, and non-responsiveness in an attempt to obstruct the Select Subcommittee’s investigation and hide evidence that could incriminate or embarrass senior public health officials. It appears that HHS even intentionally under-resourced its component that responds to legislative oversight requests.

    ECOHEALTH OBSTRUCTION:

EcoHealth President Dr. Peter Daszak obstructed the Select Subcommittee’s investigation by providing publicly available information, instructing his staff to reduce the scope and pace of productions, and doctoring documents before releasing them to the public. Further, Dr. Daszak provided false statements to Congress.

    DR. DAVID MORENS:

Dr. Fauci’s Senior Advisor, Dr. David Morens, deliberately obstructed the Select Subcommittee’s investigation, likely lied to Congress on multiple occasions, unlawfully deleted federal COVID-19 records, and shared nonpublic information about NIH grant processes with EcoHealth President Dr. Peter Daszak.

    NEW YORK OBSTRUCTION:

New York’s Executive Chamber — led presently by Governor Kathy Hochul — redacted documents, offered numerous illegitimate privilege claims, and withheld thousands of documents without an apparent legal basis to obstruct the Select Subcommittee’s investigation into former Governor Cuomo’s pandemic-era failures.

    WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION (WHO):

The WHO’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic was an abject failure because it caved to pressure from the Chinese Communist Party and placed China’s political interests ahead of its international duties. Further, the WHO’s newest effort to solve the problems exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic — via a “Pandemic Treaty” — may harm the United States.

    SOCIAL DISTANCING:

The “6 feet apart” social distancing recommendation — which shut down schools and small business across the country — was arbitrary and not based on science. During closed door testimony, Dr. Fauci testified that the guidance “sort of just appeared.”

    MASK MANDATES:

There was no conclusive evidence that masks effectively protected Americans from COVID-19. Public health officials flipped-flopped on the efficacy of masks without providing Americans scientific data — causing a massive uptick in public distrust.

    LOCKDOWNS:

Prolonged lockdowns caused immeasurable harm to not only the American economy, but also to the mental and physical health of Americans, with a particularly negative effect on younger citizens. Rather than prioritizing the protection of the most vulnerable populations, federal and state government policies forced millions of Americans to forgo crucial elements of a healthy and financially sound life.

    NEW YORK PANDEMIC FAILURES:

Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s March 25 Order — which forced nursing homes to accept COVID-19 positive patients — “was medical malpractice.” Evidence shows that Mr. Cuomo and his Administration worked to cover up the tragic aftermath of their policy decisions in an apparent effort to shield themselves from accountability.

    COVID-19 MISINFORMATION:

Public health officials often mislead the American people  through conflicting messaging, knee-jerk reactions, and a lack of transparency.  Most egregiously,  the federal government demonized alternative treatments and disfavored narratives, such as the lab leak theory, in a shameful effort to coerce and control the American people’s health decisions.

When those efforts failed, the Biden Administration resorted to “outright censorship—coercing and colluding with the world’s largest social media companies to censor all COVID-19-related dissent.”
