  • Who Is Jason in GTA 6? Everything We Know So Far

Ever since the GTA 6 trailer aired, fans have been hard at work uncovering all the potential clues baked into the visuals. This is especially the case for the two protagonists at the heart of the game – Jason and Lucia. While the latter had more of a presence in the trailer, Jason remains a subject of mystery. We already know that he’ll be a playable character thanks to the infamous 2022 leaks, but beyond that, information on the character is scarce. With this in mind, we’ve compiled a guide on everything to know about GTA 6’s Jason. So with that, let’s begin.

Who is Jason in GTA 6?

Jason is one of the twin protagonists in GTA 6 and plays a prominent role in the narrative alongside Lucia. We first glimpse the character in the GTA 6 trailer as he’s seated inside a car with her. The pair looks to be on the run from the law, as police vehicles zip by them, and Lucia is even shown holding a wad of cash. The duo also has facemasks, which suggests they just pulled off a robbery.

Besides her ties to Lucia, we know little else about the character’s background or how he turned to a life of crime. What we do know for sure is that he’ll be a playable character in the game. Speaking of which, his model looks to have undergone significant changes, as his appearance was much different in the leaked gameplay footage from 2022. It’s worth noting that Rockstar has yet to confirm if the male protagonist is even named Jason. The community learned about the name thanks to leaks as well.

The trailer makes it apparent that the duo are partners-in-crime. Besides their daring vehicle escape, it features separate shots of Jason and Lucia holding up a convenience store. The pair can be seen striding purposely through the aisles, possibly to go up to the cashier, and they also burst through the store’s doors with firearms at the ready. These sequences are likely displayed in reverse order and culminate in the car escape mentioned earlier.

The trailer strongly suggests a romantic angle for their relationship since the duo can be seen having an intimate moment. Any remaining doubts were cleared up by the game’s cover art, which displays Lucia with her arm around Jason. While we don’t know the extent of their crime spree, we can safely assume that the upcoming game will feature missions that see them commit robberies together.

    Trouble in Paradise?

It’s well established that Rockstar loves weaving a major betrayal into their narrative. There are countless examples of this, and things have reached a point where players can see it coming from miles away. This has spawned a popular theory that Jason could turn his back on Lucia at some point in the story.

The genesis of this theory is the very first shot of the trailer, which shows Lucia in an orange jumpsuit inside a prison. Puzzled by how she ended up there, some players online have speculated that Jason could give up his partner to the police at some point in the story.

While not entirely plausible, the ominous nature of their conversation towards the end of the trailer reinforces this theory. In the conversation, Lucia asks for a reaffirmation of trust, to which Jason replies, “Trust,” which is not the most convincing answer.

We’ll have to wait until the release date to see exactly how their relationship turns out, but it certainly wouldn’t be surprising to see either character walk out on the other.

GTA 6 Jason Voice Actor: Speculations

Despite uttering a single word during the entire trailer, Jason has been linked to multiple voice actors. Three stand out, but the official voice actor has yet to be confirmed.

    1. Gregory Connors

American actor Gregory Connors has emerged as the most likely candidate behind Jason’s voice. The 37-year-old has appeared on TV Shows such as The Blacklist, The Good Fight, and FBI’s: Most Wanted, alongside some on-stage roles. Rumors surrounding his involvement began after fans online discovered a ‘Lead’ voice-over role for Rockstar Games on his resume. The mention was also dated ‘2025’, the year GTA 6 is scheduled to release.

Furthermore, his CV has no media credits in 2023, which aligns with Rockstar’s potential voice-over timeline. Of course, this is just speculation at the moment, and the actor himself has yet to comment on these rumors.

    2. Troy Baker

Troy Baker is a well-established voice actor credited with iconic roles such as Joel from The Last of Us and Sam Drake from Uncharted 4. Fans linked the actor to Jason purely out of speculation, but he was quick to shoot down those claims in an interview.

    3. Bryan Zampella

Image shared by Bryan Zampella next to the GTA 6 cover art

Actor Bryan Zampella was linked to Jason shortly after the emergence of the 2022 leaks. He went on to lean into these rumors by posting images of himself cosplaying as the character, gray tank top and all.

He is also connected to Rockstar employees on social media, which stoked the fire even more. Without an official confirmation, it’s hard to deduce if the New York City native is actually involved in the game or if he’s taking fans for a ride.

That is pretty much everything we know about Jason in GTA 6 so far. We’ll learn more about the character once the second trailer drops. Until then, let us know in the comments if you have your own voice actor theories for the character.

  • Nvidia’s Next Move: AI Chip Manufacturing in the USA

Nvidia is making big moves to bring more of its chip production to the United States. On Monday, the company said it has added over a million square feet of manufacturing space in Arizona and Texas. The goal: to build and test its latest AI chips right on U.S. soil.

Production of Nvidia’s new Blackwell chips is already underway at TSMC’s facilities in Phoenix, Arizona. Meanwhile, the company is setting up supercomputer manufacturing sites in Texas — one with Foxconn in Houston, and another with Wistron in Dallas.

Nvidia is now teaming up with Amkor and SPIL in Arizona for chip packaging and testing. These are crital steps which are necessary in getting the chips ready for real-world use.

    Expected Date for Mass Production

In the next 12 to 15 months, Nvidia expects mass production to begin in Houston and Dallas. The company is projected to be able to produce about $500 million worth of AI infrastructure within the U.S.

    Jensen Huang, Nvidia’s CEO, said,

“The engines of the world’s AI infrastructure are being built in the United States for the first time. Adding American manufacturing helps us better meet the incredible and growing demand for AI chips and supercomputers, strengthens our supply chain, and boosts our resiliency.”

    Timing Is No Coincidence

This announcement comes just days after reports said Nvidia avoided U.S. export controls on its H20 chip. That chip is one of the last advanced Nvidia products still allowed for export to China.

According to NPR, Nvidia secured that exemption by agreeing to invest heavily in domestic production. CEO Huang reportedly struck a deal with the Trump administration to keep making key components for U.S.-based AI data centers.

Others Are Following SuitNvidia AI Chip

Nvidia isn’t alone in embracing this “America-first” push in AI. Several other tech giants have made big domestic commitments:

    • OpenAI, with SoftBank and Oracle, is behind the $500 billion Stargate Project to build AI data centers in the U.S.
    • Microsoft plans to spend $80 billion on AI infrastructure next year, with half of that in the U.S.

Sources say former President Trump has been aggressive in demanding local investment. He reportedly told TSMC it could face 100% tariffs unless it built chip factories in America.

Economic Impact Could Be HugeNvidia AI Chip

Nvidia believes this shift could create “hundreds of thousands” of U.S. jobs and generate trillions of dollars in economic activity over the coming decades. But there are challenges.

    Big Goals, Big Challenges

The U.S. still lacks enough skilled workers to support chip production. Building advanced chips requires expertise in engineering, cleanroom assembly, and precise testing — all of which are in short supply. In addition, China may respond with retaliatory tariffs or by restricting access to raw materials needed for chipmaking.

There are also political hurdles. The Trump administration has made moves that may weaken the Chips Act, a law passed in 2022 that promised billions in subsidies to chipmakers. If that support dries up, it could scare off future investment.

    Conclusion

Nvidia’s bold plan is a clear testament to how seriously the company is taking the future of AI infrastructure. Nvidia’s decision to bring chip production home underscores the company’s quest to grow further and attain home security. However, money is not everything in the chip-making space. The company would need a strong workforce, smart global moves and a peaceful political environment for the company to thrive.

  • ’Nigeria is under herdsmen siege,’ Kanu’s lawyer, Ejiofor urges Tinubu to end killings

One of the lawyers to detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, has called on President Bola Tinubu to take immediate and decisive action to end the killings and bloodbath currently going on in several parts of the country perpetrated by bandits suspected to be Fulani militias.

In a statement he shared on his X page on Tuesday, the human rights lawyer and activist said it is imperative that the government should intervene to end what he described as unchecked carnage carried out by rampaging herdsmen across several states in Nigeria.

Ejiofor who condemned the wave of violence in Plateau, Benue, Edo, Delta and Enugu States, said Nigeria is currently in the grips of a “grave national tragedy.”

“Each day, new casualty figures are reported by the media, reducing human lives to mere statistics, as though we were counting livestock,” Ejiofor stated in the statement.

He lamented the daily toll of innocent lives lost, which he described as “barbaric” and decried the government’s response as “complicit silence.”

“Behind those numbers are mothers, fathers, children, and breadwinners.

“This is a shameful indictment on our government and an affront to our shared humanity.”

Ejiofor also tasked the Tinubu-led administration and the affected state governors to fulfill their constitutional obligations to protect lives and property.

“The continuous slaughter of innocent Nigerians by marauding herdsmen and the government’s inertia in the face of this carnage is both condemnable and unacceptable. Enough must finally be enough—and must be seen to be so,” he added.

  • Manchester United interested in another Serie A forward

Manchester United’s Europa League clash with Lyon could be a turning point in their stuttering season under Ruben Amorim.

With the Red Devils languishing in 14th place in the Premier League, pressure is mounting on the Portuguese boss to secure silverware and European qualification.

United’s form has seen them drop out of Champions League contention, forcing the board to plan aggressively ahead of the summer window.

Amorim is reportedly keen on bolstering his frontline, with Rasmus Hojlund still inconsistent and Anthony Martial set to depart on a free transfer.

Fabrizio Romano also confirmed United’s growing interest in Ipswich Town’s rising star Liam Delap, though competition from Chelsea remains intense.

Now, a new name has emerged at the top of United’s shortlist.

Dusan Vlahovic is firmly in the Red Devils’ sights as they prepare to revamp their forward options this summer.

According to CaughtOffside, Manchester United are one of several European powerhouses tracking the Juventus striker ahead of a possible summer switch.

The 25-year-old Serbian has just over a year left on his contract, and Juventus could be forced to cash in to avoid losing him for less in 2026.

Juventus would reportedly accept an offer of around €55 million (£47m), but interested Premier League clubs, including United and Chelsea, are believed to be lining up bids closer to €45 million (£38m).

New Juventus manager Igor Tudor is a known admirer of Dusan Vlahovic, and his recent form has only strengthened his case, with the striker assisting three of Juve’s last four goals.

However, his hefty salary of €23m per season remains a huge stumbling block for the Bianconeri, potentially tipping the scale in United’s favour.

Described by pundits as “the best finisher in the world,” Vlahovic would bring much-needed firepower and clinical edge to Old Trafford.

With United reluctant to meet Victor Osimhen’s €120m release clause and uncertainty over Benjamin Sesko’s availability, Vlahovic represents a more affordable, ready-made solution.

If United can negotiate terms and convince the Serbian to join the Amorim project, a cut-price marquee signing could be on the cards in the coming weeks.

  • Matt Hancock Fails to Stop Andrew Bridgen’s Covid Vaccine Libel Action

ER Editor: A 2.0 warning for Matt Hancock. Covid criminals, especially those working for governments, have long been picked up. EO 13818 anticipated Covid crimes. Andrew Bridgen’s libel claim against Matt Hancock to go to trial

    ********

Matt Hancock has lost a High Court attempt to end a libel claim by former MP Andrew Bridgen against him over a tweet about the Covid vaccine. The Telegraph has more.

Mr Hancock, a former health secretary, is being sued by Andrew Bridgen over a post on X in January 2023.

Mr Bridgen, the former North West Leicestershire MP, shared a link to an article concerning data about deaths and other adverse reactions linked to Covid vaccines, stating: “As one consultant cardiologist said to me, this is the biggest crime against humanity since the Holocaust.”

Hours later, Mr Hancock shared a video of him asking a question in the Commons, captioned: “The disgusting and dangerous antisemitic, anti-vax, anti-scientific conspiracy theories spouted by a sitting MP this morning are unacceptable and have absolutely no place in our society.”

He unsuccessfully asked a judge to throw out the case last year, and at a hearing in March asked the court in London to rule in his favour before a trial.

Mr Bridgen opposed the application, with his barristers calling it a “desperate last throw of the dice”.

In a judgment on Monday, Mrs Justice Collins Rice dismissed Mr Hancock’s bid, adding that whether Mr Bridgen succeeded in his case was “likely to depend on a full examination of the evidence both ways” and that there should not be a “mini-trial in advance of the evidential situation even being known”.

She continued: “My task on this application is not to consider who has the better case at this stage, much less who is more likely to win. My task is to consider whether Mr Bridgen’s case is unreal. Mr Bridgen’s case as pleaded and evidenced so far does not have an obvious quality of unreality.

“I am not in a position to conclude at this stage that Mr Bridgen’s prospects of success on either matter are such as to be determinable now to be unreal, and in any event there are, in my view, compelling reasons for further investigation at trial and a fully considered judgment thereafter.”

Mrs Justice Collins Rice said the case was “therefore set to proceed to the full evidential stages and on to trial”.

The judge also said Mr Bridgen’s “pleading of the counter-defence is, however, defective”, adding that he had a “limited opportunity” to amend it.

Mr Bridgen was suspended by the Conservatives after his post and expelled from the party in April 2023. He then sat as a Reclaim Party MP and then became an independent until he was defeated at last year’s General Election.

He previously said he wished to “clear his name” through the libel action over Mr Hancock’s “malicious” post.

  • No Candidate Will Write UTME Outside Registered State, JAMB Clarifies

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has assured that no candidate will sit for the board’s examination outside their state of registration.

JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr Fabian Benjamin, gave the assurance in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Abuja.

Benjamin explained that some candidates, who sat for the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) outside their state of registration and residence, were sent to the available centres closer to their areas.

He said this was because not all the CBT centres were available to conduct the mock examination, adding that, however, all registered centres would be available for the main exercise.

“If centres for mock in Abuja are filled up and there are available centres in Nasarawa State, candidates will be sent there.

According to him, this is not likely to happen in the main examination because there will be more centres conducting the main examination, and so, no candidate will be sent outside their state of residence.

He also explained that early registration of the UTME also determined how close a candidate’s centre would be to him or her, adding that once a closer centre was already filled up, the candidate may be assigned any available centre within the state.

Benjamin had earlier, in a statement on Sunday, said that the board acknowledged the delays and other challenges experienced by some candidates during the examination and regretted any inconvenience caused.

The challenges, the spokesperson had said, were anticipated due to the new features implemented to enhance the overall conduct of the main UTME.

“The mock examination serves as a trial version of the UTME, allowing the board to test new innovations while helping candidates familiarise themselves with the CBT environment.

“Over the years, this initiative has successfully achieved its objectives, addressing noted lapses and equipping candidates with valuable experience for the main examination.

“JAMB urges all candidates to continue making the necessary sacrifices to ensure a better examination experience that effectively serves their interests,” he said.

The 2025 UTME is scheduled to begin on April 25.

Children from the Romanian Orthodox community in Antwerp, Belgium, recently attended a special religious camp at the Protection of the Mother of God Monastery in Switzerland.

The week-long program, called “The Little Hesychast Camp,” took place last week and focused on introducing young participants to monastic traditions and prayer practices, reports the Basilica News Agency.

Throughout their stay, the children joined in daily services with the monastery’s nuns, practiced the Jesus Prayer, engaged in meaningful discussions with Abbess Antonia, and participated in various workshops led by the sisters.

“This experience was for many a true opening toward the mystery of silence and the prayer of the heart. We hope that this seed of hesychia will sprout and bear fruit in the hearts of the little ones, becoming a foundation for a life established in Christ,” said Fr. Mario Mihai from the Antwerp parish.

The camp balanced spiritual activities with recreation. Attendees visited the Aquatis aquarium, rode the scenic Belle Époque train, and enjoyed outdoor sports, storytelling sessions, and campfires on the monastery grounds.

The event was organized for children and teenagers, with the aim of connecting them more deeply with monastic life and prayer traditions.
