  • Police declare billionaire daughter Ihuoma Nneji wanted for cyberstalking Very Dark Man

The Nigeria Police Force has declared Ihuoma Nneji, the daughter of Nigerian socialite, billionaire businessman, and ABC Transport founder Frank Nneji, wanted for allegedly cyberstalking popular social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, aka Very Dark Man.

The Police Force’s National Cybercrime Centre released a public bulletin on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, asking for help in finding Ihuoma in the wake of her protracted court battle with Very Dark Man.

Nneji should be taken into custody and turned over to the closest police station or the NPF-NCCC headquarters in Abuja, per the bulletin released by the Office of the Inspector-General of Police.

The order declaring Nneji wanted was issued months after she sued Very Dark Man for defamation in a case filed before the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Previously, Nneji was accused by VeryDarkMan of falsifying her identity as an American travel nurse when she is actually a care worker and of bringing unwarranted accusations against her ex-husband.

In a video posted on his social media profile, Very Dark Man asserted that Nneji had also had other cosmetic operations, such as a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL).

  • Manchester United shortlist FOUR goalkeepers to replace Andre Onana

Manchester United are desperate for a new goalkeeper as Andre Onana has had a significantly poor performance, losing the confidence of the United staff.

Onana is currently leading the way as the Premier League goalkeeper with the most mistakes directly resulting in conceding goals, a stat he’ll want to shake as soon as possible.

Due to his problematic decisions in games, with their first leg against Lyon in the Europa League being a prime example, Ruben Amorim dropped the goalkeeper from his starting squad against Newcastle.

In Onana’s place, Amorim gave back-up goalie Altay Bayindir a run out, however the Turkish goalkeeper made several Onana level mistakes.

Despite this, United’s first-choice keeper is still unsure if he’ll feature tomorrow against Lyon at Old Trafford, with United ramping up the search for his replacements.

Manchester United identify key targets to replace Andre Onana

I News has reported that United currently have a list of four individuals who United are looking to as an upgrade from Onana.

The shortlist includes Parma star Zion Suzuki, AC Milan’s Mike Maignan, Brighton’s goalie Bart Verbruggen and Porto shot-stopper Diogo Costa.

It’s understood that these four were also joined by former United goalkeeper David de Gea as a potential to return, despite being replaced by Onana and left clubless in 2023.

However, de Gea has now extended his contract with Fiorentina, keeping him with the Serie A side for another year.

It could be that United target two of their shortlist, also needing a replacement for Bayindir who is expected to leave in the summer to pursue first-team football.

With Tom Heaton also looking at retiring at the end of the season, the goalkeeper department at Old Trafford is set for a complete overhaul this summer.

  • Trump Purging State Department of Satanism

When President Donald J. Trump ordered State Department employees to snitch on co-workers engendering anti-Christion bias, Democrat lawmakers and civil liberties groups like the ACLU decried the move as a bigoted assault on religious freedom, an attack on Muslim and LGBQT+ workers at State offices and US embassies worldwide.

Exposing subversive behavior and internal threats is a noble goal. The President, though, also aims to rid the federal government of an equally invasive menace: A scourge of satanic malefactors that began infesting the department under Obama’s reign of terror and multiplied exponentially during Biden’s illegal takeover of the federal government.

In February, POTUS signed an executive order to end “the anti-Christian weaponization of government,” (ER: see also this link) and last week Marco Rubio sent out a departmentwide cable instructing State Department personnel to anonymously report instances of “anti-Christian bias.”

Although the cable does not explicitly mention satanism, a State Department source speaking under the promise of anonymity told Real Raw News that satanic worship is definitionally anti-Christian.

“President Trump found out thousands of State Department people practiced satanism publicly and privately—even in the workplace. He has eyes and ears everywhere. A bunch of them are gone; they got caught up in DOGE’s firings, but President Trump knows a lot are still hanging around. And it goes without saying that Satanists don’t like President Trump very much,” our source said.

He recounted examples of satanic comportment he had observed while working at the US embassy in Berlin in 2022. A group of staffers loitering around a watercooler openly discussed their interpretations of Necronomicon, the Book of the Dead, a malevolent tome whose pages are filled with vicious secrets, dark tidings, and demonic incantations, and which alludes to the diabolic legend of Beelzebub, “Lord of the Flies,” a wicked deity to whom numerous now-dead Deep Staters—as we’ve reported in the past—swore everlasting fealty. Our source said some employees unashamedly had copies of the Necronomicon displayed conspicuously on their desks, often to pages with their favorite spells highlighted in yellow ink.

“They thought reciting passages would earn them promotions, better assignments, more money, that sort of thing. And they’d try to recruit others to read it, too. I was among those others, and I told them off. I raised my concern to my boss at the time, and can you guess what he told me? He said Necronomicon was approved reading if it didn’t affect job performance,” our source said.

In July 2024, our source was suddenly reassigned to the US embassy in Albania. He told RRN he felt the “unfavorable” reassignment was retaliatory—punishment for continually denouncing demonism in the Berlin office.

“Pack your shit, you’re on the next flight to Albania, that’s what I was told,” he said. “I can’t say if it’s coincidence or not, but this happened the day after Kamala Harris replaced Biden.”

But even the remote office in Triana, Albania—home to only nine State Department personnel—was no sanctuary from the pervasive spread of satanism.  Two days following his arrival, he was asked to participate in a “sacred ritual” that involved burning a life-size effigy of Donald Trump.

“As it was told to me, it would summon an avatar of Mephistopheles, who would stop Trump’s 2024 presidential bid. I didn’t join in, and three weeks later, I was back in Washington,” the source said.

“Thank God almighty that Trump won and that I still had my job,” our source added. “I know I’m not the only God-fearing person they tried to indoctrinate. And I’m sure I’m not the only one who shared what I know with the administration.”

In closing, he said he believes countless evildoers still lurk within the State Department and that many are pretending to be MAGA to conceal their satanic allegiance.

“I’ve talked to Secretary of State Rubio’s staff, and I know the president’s EO is geared toward exposing and firing all these devil worshipers,” he said.

  • Political Visits To Buhari Show North Will Decide Fate Of Tinubu In 2027

It’s one of the unique ironies of Nigeria’s democracy that the political opposition in the country is investing heavily in the goodwill of an influential member of the ruling party!

Visits to former President Muhammadu Buhari’s residence in Kaduna and Daura by the political opposition has become a regular feature on the news- one that is generously reported with revealing photographs.

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai and ex-Sokoto State governor, Aminu Tambuwal, all known presidential aspirants and prominent members of opposition parties have been reported to have visited Buhari at least twice in the last eight months.

The most recent was last Friday when they all visited the former president in his Kaduna residence along with former Minister of Communications, Isa Pantami, and former governor of Imo State, Achike Udenwa.

Others in the entourage include former governor of Benue State, Gabriel Suswam; and his Adamawa State counterpart, Jibrilla Bindow.

El- rufai, who decamped from the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) to the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in March, boasted that he got Buhari’s support before his defection.

Atiku has not yet openly admitted seeking Buhari’s support to run for president again in 2027, which would be his fifth attempt if he runs. Instead, he called the visits sallah homage!

But El-rufai, who is not one to hide under a finger, shared a message which showed the intent of the visit on social media. He wrote: “By the way, our adversaries should not lose any sleep. It is not about politics. It is about unity and brotherhood. And since we are all politically irrelevant, we just prayed and enjoyed lunch with our mentor.”

    Why The Pilgrimage To Buhari?

Political analysts have however suggested that the regular visits and calls to Buhari is a signal that the north may be rallying forces against the re-election of President Bola Tinubu.

According to Kamilu Sani Fagge, a professor of political science at the Bayero University Kano, Tinubu appears to be drawing a line between his administration and the north as a result of his policies and appointments.

“The on-going economic reforms of the government are affecting the north more and his appointments are seen as nepotistic and tilted against the north,” Prof Fagge said, adding that the opposition will see these developments as favourable for them.

Haba Hakimi, a Kano based public interest lawyer, agrees with Prof Fagge. He told THE WHISTLER in a telephone interview that the north thinks Tinubu is doing what Buhari did by “giving appointment to only Yoruba people.”

Any serious presidential contender, according to Hakimi, must know that the north is where the contest would be decided.

Figures computed by THE WHISTLER on previous elections show that the north delivers the highest number of votes in any general election. For instance, out of a total of 24, 053, 553 votes recorded in the 2023 presidential election, 14, 702, 684 votes came from the 19 northern states while a total of 9, 350, 869 was recorded for the entire southern states.

In terms of turn out during elections, the north also comes top. In the 2023 election, only the North-West and North-Central regions had up to 30 percent voter turnout. They were followed by the North-East with 28.63 percent.

In 2019 election, the North-West and North-East also had the highest voter turnout, which was over 40 percent.

“Yes, the north has always being the political battleground in Nigeria because of the northern block vote. That block vote is really something.  North can be a decider of electoral victory. Even when the south is united, the north can be a factor that decides winner.

“In 2023, Because of the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the APC, a lot of Christians in the south voted for Peter Obi, but still he couldn’t make headway in the north because he has not been accepted by the north. So, the north is a decider,” he stressed.

    Why Buhari’s Endorsement Matters?

But what can Buhari’s endorsement do for a party or presidential candidate?

“It’s important to some extent; by getting his endorsement, it means by so doing some of his followers will support them. Secondly, it will give a psychological and moral boost for them to be seen to be getting his support because that will rattle the ruling party, APC.

“Even though the cult followership of Buhari has reduced drastically, it will give them a psychological boost and it’s a way of getting his followers,” Prof Fagge said.

Hakimi also agrees, saying Buhari may have lost his mass appeal after a failed presidency, but he still has substantial supporters.

He is however of the opinion that anyone hoping Buhari will change the narrative for them is leaving in a fool’s paradise.

“He’s still a force to reckon with., but I don’t just think Buhari can make anything happen right now. People have tried him and it was unanimously agreed that he failed the people, he didn’t deliver. I don’t think the pilgrimage politicians are making to his house can change the narrative if it is not in their favour already, “said Hakimi.

But Prof Fagge has a warning for politicians and potential aspirants thronging the home of Buhari: “If what Buhari is saying is true that he remains an APC man, I don’t think he will come out to support anyone. But the fact that whether willingly or unwillingly, President Tinubu is drawing a line between himself and the north, perhaps it will not be surprising if Buhari endorses somebody else.”

What Parties Must Do To Win

According to analysts, getting northern votes in 2027 would depend on a number of factors, including the candidates’ records, ability to mobilize the people and a realistic plan to address the challenges facing the people.

According to Prof Fagge, any party that wants to win northern votes must address the major challenges that are currently facing the north, such as insecurity, poverty, unemployment and general socio-economic crisis.

“The party has to go into the nooks and crannies of the north to sell these ideas; but it has to go with a candidate the north believes can deliver.

“The candidate must be able to build a good team because leadership is about team work. If he says he wants to go solo, he may not likely make it. But must be able to build a team that is sellable to the people,” Prof Fagge added.

According to UNICEF, about 10.5 million children are out of school in Nigeria and nearly 70 percent of this figure is in the north.

Hakimi said the north has a huge number of youths, most of who are unemployed. “Anyone seeking their votes must show readiness to tackle the problem, and if it’s the incumbent, he has to show what he has been able to do for them.”

But while Prof Fagge believes that Tinubu must change some of his unfavourable policies to get the support of the north in 2027, Hakimi thinks the APC is the party to beat because of the power of incumbency.

He said, “The ruling party has an opportunity because they’re already in power and has resources, and these resources are meant for the people.

“What they need to do is to utilize these resources prudently and serve the people well.  Then it should reverse some of its policies. For instance, the ruling party is seen as giving appointment to only Yoruba people. So, it is seen as nepotistic just as Buhari did. They have to reverse that.”

  • California will sue to stop Trump from imposing sweeping tariffs

By SOPHIE AUSTIN, Associated Press/Report for America

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — California Gov. Gavin Newsom said Wednesday that his state will file a lawsuit challenging President Donald Trump’s authority to impose sweeping tariffs that have set off a global trade war.

The suit will argue that Trump’s use of the International Emergency Economic Powers Act to impose tariffs on Mexico, Canada and China or a 10% tariff on all imports is unlawful. The act enables a president to freeze and block transactions in response to foreign threats.

The lawsuit, which will be filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, will also argue that enacting such tariffs requires approval from Congress, Newsom’s office said in a news release.

Trump has offered many justifications for increasing tariffs, including that they are designed to spur U.S. manufacturing and stop the flow of illicit fentanyl into the country. California’s move follows rapidly changing tariff plans by the Trump administration.

Newsom says the tariffs in effect have resulted in inflated costs and billions of dollars in damage in California, which has the largest economy among U.S. states and is a massive exporter.

“President Trump’s unlawful tariffs are wreaking chaos on California families, businesses, and our economy — driving up prices and threatening jobs,” he said in a statement. “We’re standing up for American families who can’t afford to let the chaos continue.”

Newsom will discuss the lawsuit alongside California Attorney General Rob Bonta later Wednesday in the farm-rich Central Valley. California is a farming powerhouse, with many of the nuts, fruits and vegetables the state grows destined for other countries.

The state will ask the court to immediately block the tariffs.

The announcement comes days after Newsom asked countries to exempt California exports from retaliatory tariffs. No deals have yet been announced.

Musclenoob, one of the finalists for the Capcom Pro Tour 2024 World Warrior United Kingdom/Ireland region, recently released a new tier list for Street Fighter 6 Season 2. He spends over an hour talking about all 25 characters that are currently in the game.

Combatants have been divided up into the S+. S, A, and B tier groups. It’s interesting to note that the S+ category contains the most characters within it, suggesting that plenty of characters feel viable at the moment.

JP sits at the very top of the tier list. This placement certainly makes sense considering how Kakeru was able to win Capcom Cup 11 using JP, securing him the $1,000,000 prize at the end of it all.

In total, there are nine fighters in the S+ tier group which also includes Akuma, Ken, M. Bison, Mai Shiranui, Ryu, and a few others. Ryu’s placement here is very interesting, but his recent results do seem to support Musclenoob’s opinion.

A.K.I., Guile, Juri, Kimberly, and Zangief are also said to be quite strong, but players using them will have to work a little harder than those featured in the S+ tier category. Still, they’ve been placed in S tier positions for good reasons.

Jamie, Blanka, Lily, and Marisa can be seen at the very bottom of the rankings. Right now, it’s generally not worth it to play these combatants at tournaments considering how they get outclassed by the rest of the roster.

  • Judges given guidance on how to spot AI-generated submissions

Unfamiliar case names and US spellings among key giveaways

Judicial guidance on the use of AI in courts was updated this week, outlining common pitfalls, recommended practices for available tools, and a glossary of key terms.

The new release updates guidance from 2023, applying to all judicial office holders – court clerks, support staff, court of appeal judges, legal assistants, and more – and was published online to promote “open justice and public confidence”.

The document outlines key signs that a party may have used AI—such as cases that “do not sound familiar” or include “unfamiliar citations (sometimes from the US)”; parties “citing different bodies of case law” on the same issues; and submissions that use American spelling, reference overseas cases, or “do not accord” with judges’ understanding of the law.

Perhaps most interesting is the final indicator: “content that (superficially at least) appears to be highly persuasive and well written, but on closer inspection contains obvious substantive errors.”

Nevertheless, the guidance notes there is no reason AI couldn’t be a “potentially useful” tool, and judges won’t be required to disclose if they’ve used it. Depending on the context, lawyers may not need to either, “provided AI is used responsibly.” However, “it may be necessary… that lawyers are reminded of their ‘obligations’” and confirm they have independently verified the accuracy of any material generated with AI assistance.

The reference to litigants-in-person (LiPs) is slightly different:

“[AI] may be the only source of advice or assistance some litigants receive. Litigants rarely have the skills independently to verify legal information provided by AI chatbots and may not be aware that they are prone to error. If it appears an AI chatbot may have been used to prepare submissions or other documents, it is appropriate to inquire about this, ask what checks for accuracy have been undertaken (if any), and inform the litigant that they are responsible for what they put to the court/tribunal.”

“Fake material” is also discussed: “Judges should be aware of this new possibility and potential challenges posed by deepfake technology”, as well as potentially unintentional forgeries (“hallucinations”) — like citations or quotes from “fictitious” cases, legislation, or legal texts.

Another section advises against legal research and analysis, noting AI often bases its legal “view” on US law. “Anything you type into it could become publicly known”, reads the guidance, advising chat histories to be turned off and to deny mobile app permissions. If something private and confidential is uploaded, judicial office holders are to treat it as a data breach.

The 2025 Legal Cheek Firms Most List

Separately, the guidance reveals that Microsoft’s AI tool, Copilot, is now available on judges’ computers. While it does not explicitly encourage its use, it does describe the tool as “secure”. Sir Geoffrey Vos, Master of the Rolls, has been positive about AI in the past, despite some “silly” examples of bad practice.

This comes with a glossary to help judges and staff navigate the techy jargon.

This comes amidst a rise in AI use by both lawyers and LIPs. On the lawyers side, examples range from Shoosmiths’ £1 million bonus pot for using AI to disbarred US lawyers. Among LiPs, one barrister has warned of risks, while a US pro se litigant employed an AI-generated avatar of counsel.
