  • RuneScape DragonWilds Goblin Diplomacy Quest Guide

Goblin Diplomacy is one of the side quests in RuneScape DragonWilds. Like most side quests in DragonWilds, the game provides the bare minimum information on this quest, which makes it hard for players to complete it. The Goblin Diplomacy quest also rewards a cool-looking cape, so going through the hassle of achieving it is worthwhile. Want to know how to get it done? Here is a complete guide on how to complete the Goblin Diplomacy in RuneScape DragonWilds.

How to Start Goblin Diplomacy Quest in RuneScape DragonWilds

First, you have to start the Goblin Diplomacy quest in RuneScape DragonWilds. The quest automatically starts once you talk to the Goblin Zanik and get one of the two bandosian amulets. Let’s begin getting the first one. The first amulet is located in a ruin, southwest of Bramblemead Valley. This ruin is infested with goblins, so make sure you are properly fitted to take on the challenge.

Image Credit: Jagex (screenshot by Sanmay Chakrabarti/Beebom)

After you reach the ruins, defeat all the goblins and head inside. Inside the ruin, you should see a staircase going downwards. Take the stairs downwards to find an entrance blocked by Thorny Vines. Cut the Thorny Vines and head inside to find a Reliquary. Interact with the Reliquary to get the first Bandosian amulet. This will start the Goblin Diplomacy quest in RuneScape DragonWilds.

How to Complete the Goblin Diplomacy Quest in RuneScape

Now that we have our first amulet, it’s time to complete the quest. Follow the steps below to do so:

Goblin Diplomacy Part 1: Speak With Zanik

After you have received the first Bandosian amulet and started the Goblin Diplomacy quest, the first thing you will need to do is find a person who knows about the Bandosian Amulet. Head northeast of Bramblemead Valley, and you would come across a high ridge that overlooks the Whispering Swamp. At the top of the high ridge, you will find the friendly Goblin NPC ‘Zanik‘.

Speak with Zanik to learn about the Amulet and progress the quest. Zanik will task you to find the second Bandosian Amulet and ask you to search it in a ruin northeast of her location.

Goblin Diplomacy Part 2: Find the Ruin Northeast of Zanik

Now, head further Northeast from Zanik to encounter another goblin-infested ruin. Here, you don’t need to defeat all the goblins. Locate the caged goblin first and defeat the goblins around it. Now speak with the caged goblin to learn about the whereabouts of the second Bandosian Amulet. The goblin will tell you that a Gorou-beastman has taken away the second Bandosian amulet to a cave in the Whispering Swamp.

I recommend that you place a Lodestone here because you will have to come back to Zanik to complete the quest. This way, you can easily fast travel in Dragonwilds to her. Now, leave the Goblin and head to the Whispering Swamp further North.

Goblin Diplomacy Part 3: Find the Second Amulet

Now, you must head to the cave in the swamp where the Gorou Beastman is keeping the second Bandosian amulet. We have marked the location of the second amulet on the image below, but simply getting there won’t be enough.

The cave is located at the very bottom of the swamp, so make sure you go down first and then search for the cave. Otherwise, you will be running above the cave by heading to the marked location and won’t find the entrance.

After you have found the cave entrance, enter it to find the Gorou Druid. Defeat the Gorou Druid to get the second Bandosian amulet. The Gorou Druid is pretty strong for the Whispering Swamp and can inflict strong poison on enemies. Use ranged attacks and dodge his poison thorn to defeat him easily.

Goblin Diplomacy Part 4: Give Zanik the Two Amulets

After you have obtained both the Bandosian Amulets in RuneScape DragonWilds, head back to Zanik and speak with her. She will thank you for bringing her the two amulets, and this will complete the quest. As a reward, Zanik will reward you with the Goblin War Banner cape. The following are the stats for the Goblin War Banner:

    • +2 Melee Damage
    • +2 Ranged Defense
    • +2 Magic Defense

  • Actor Jide Kosoko appeals for decorum among feuding colleagues

In response to the growing concerns over the frequent online feuds among some actors and actresses in the Nigerian film industry, veteran and industry elder Prince Jide Kosoko has made a passionate appeal for peace, maturity, and mutual respect.

Speaking on behalf of concerned elders and leaders in the industry, Prince Kosoko noted, “The bitter fights and open insults we now see daily on social media do not represent the values we were taught or the image our industry should project. These constant clashes are painting the Nigerian movie industry in a bad light, and it’s hurting not just the individuals involved but the legacy we’ve all worked so hard to build.”

According to him, this appeal goes especially to female Yoruba actors, who have been known to wash their dirty linen on social media. He reminded them that whatever they do today becomes history tomorrow, and as mothers and potential grandmothers, they should be worried about what legacy they are leaving for their children and grandchildren, warning that the internet does not forget.

“You may think that you are catching a cruise or having fun now, but in years to come, the stark reality of the damage done will become evident, and unfortunately, your children’s children will be there to see everything. Please, I am appealing to you all to stop this forthwith,” Kosoko said.

He further stated that those who engaged in such bitter fights in time past have all stopped, wondering why “it is now those who we call our own children, who understand the culture of respect, that are engaging in it”.

“One thing I want all of you to know is that it is not the bitter online fights that brought you to where you are today but your professional prowess. Do not allow anyone to deceive you to think that it is this you are doing that is giving name or success! You can make noise online but let it be on your job, your profession and the positive initiatives you are embarking on.”

He revealed that the elders and leaders of the industry have been inundated with calls from fans, cultural leaders, and prominent Nigerians expressing deep concern over the trend, which they described as an abnormality and a national embarrassment.

“We trained many of you. We watched you grow. And while we are proud of how far many of you have come, it pains us to see the house we built being torn apart by ego-driven conflicts,” Kosoko added.

He reminded practitioners that they are public figures, cultural ambassadors, and role models, expected to uphold the values of respect, dignity, and discipline that define the Nigerian culture.

“Even those who once had disagreements in the past have since embraced peace. But this new wave has taken things to a level that brings shame and discomfort to all of us,” he said. “We urge you to learn from your male colleagues, who despite differences, have found mature ways to handle conflicts without public disgrace.”

Prince Kosoko encouraged feuding parties to redirect their energy toward personal growth, professional advancement, and unity, stressing that public battles solve nothing but damage all.

He further disclosed that the elders and leaders will soon convene a roundtable meeting with the concerned individuals and stakeholders to address all lingering issues amicably.

“We appeal to all to honour this call when it comes. Anyone who chooses to ignore it would be clearly choosing disunity over peace, and destruction over growth. Whatever the issues are, you will have the opportunity to express yourself and we will certainly ensure an amicable settlement.”

Finally, Kosoko assured the public and all concerned well-meaning individuals that elders are actively working behind the scenes to bring about a lasting solution.

“We are committed to restoring order, dignity, and mutual respect to the industry. In no time, the fruits of our efforts will be evident for all to see,” he concluded.

  • New method to measure the internal crystal structure of minerals on Mars’ surface

Researchers at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) have made a groundbreaking discovery of mineral-forming events beneath Mars’ surface, using NASA’s Perseverance rover data. This finding is closer to whether life ever existed on the Red Planet.

Sulfate minerals play a key role in studying Mars’ water movement and potential for life. However, the processes behind their formation were previously unclear. The team developed a method to directly analyze the crystal structures of these minerals in Martian rocks, which was previously thought impossible.

They utilized X-ray Backscatter Diffraction Mapping (XBDM), an innovative technique Dr. Michael Jones and Professor Christoph Schrank created at the Australian Synchrotron.

By integrating this method with Perseverance’s PIXL instrument, designed by QUT alumna Abigail Allwood, the researchers uncovered valuable insights into Mars’ environment during mineral formation.

The study revealed two generations of calcium-sulfate minerals at Hogwallow Flats and Yori Pass in the Shenandoah formation, part of Jezero Crater’s ancient sedimentary fan. One set formed near the surface, while the other developed deeper underground, over 80 meters down. This diversity points to varied environmental conditions in the region’s history, opening multiple possibilities for life to have existed on Mars.

Since its landing in February 2021, the Perseverance rover has been investigating Mars’ geological past. It has explored ancient river deltas and lakebeds, aiming to uncover environments that could have supported microbial life and to collect samples for potential return to Earth.

QUT is a key player in the Planetary Surface Exploration Research Group, contributing to interplanetary science projects for NASA and the Australian Space Agency. Associate Professor David Flannery, a long-term planner for the Perseverance mission, emphasized QUT’s growing prominence in planetary science.

Through groundbreaking research in robotics, automation, data science, and astrobiology, QUT researchers are gaining expertise to help position Australia as a leader in the growing space industry. This study advances our knowledge of Mars’ geology and edges humanity closer to understanding the possibility of life beyond Earth.

  • Cape Verde Detains Six Nigerian Tourists

The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission has demanded the immediate release of six Nigerian tourists detained by the Cape Verde immigration authorities.

The agency, through a statement shared via its X (formerly Twitter) page, raised concerns over their detention, allegedly over insufficient funds.

The tourists including David Udoh, Lily Dada, Oghenero Adaware, Sherifat Abimbola Ogundairo, and Jesutomi Aina, alongside a representative from the travel agency Ìrìn Travels, were held in the facility.

The statement read partly: “The attention of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission has been drawn to a case involving six Nigerian tourists who travelled from Senegal to Cape Verde Island on vacation.

“Upon arrival in Cape Verde, they were pulled out of the queue, accused of not having enough funds, and had their phones confiscated.

They were subsequently detained at an immigration deportation camp at the airport,”

The agency noted that reports from the detention centre indicate the group is currently in distress, with one member reportedly suffering from a medical condition and lacking access to medication.

The commission called on Cape Verdean immigration authorities to handle the matter with “respect and dignity” and to “put them on the next immediate return flight to Dakar for onward connection back to Nigeria.”

The families of the tourists, who are aged 25 to 31, are said to be deeply concerned about their safety and well-being.

The case has been reported to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Consular and Migration Directorate, which is expected to engage with the Cape Verdean authorities regarding this matter.

  • San Jose Sharks GM Mike Grier not re-signing Alexandar Georgiev

SAN JOSE — Alexandar Georgiev’s time with the San Jose Sharks is ending, with general manager Mike Grier going in a different direction with his team’s goaltending.

Georgiev said minutes after the Sharks’ season-ending 3-0 loss to the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday that Grier has informed him that he will not be back with the team next season.

Georgiev is in the final year of a three-year, $10.2 million contract he signed with the Colorado Avalanche in July 2022 and is set to become an unrestricted free agent. The Sharks acquired Georgiev, winger Nikolai Kovalenko, and two draft picks in December as part of the trade that sent goalie Mackenzie Blackwood to the Colorado Avalanche.

Georgiev, 29, went 7-19-4 with an .875 save percentage in 31 games with the Sharks.

“I already had a conversation with the GM, and he said they’re going with a different group for next year,” Georgiev said Wednesday night at SAP Center. “So I know that I’ll be a part of a different team, and at least that’s good to know, and I know that I have a new challenge and team to play for. It will be very exciting for me.”

Understandably, Grier and the Sharks want to make changes. As a team, San Jose had the NHL’s worst goals against average (3.75) and third-worst save percentage (.881), only ahead of Buffalo (.879) and Philadelphia (.872).

The Sharks finished the year in last place in the NHL’s overall standings with a 20-50-12 record.

In 48 games with the Sharks and Avalanche this season, Georgiev went 15-25-4 with an .874 save percentage.

“I hope the group here is good. They deserve to win and deserve good goalies,” Georgiev said. “So that’s up to the management now.”

Georgiev did not always have the support and structure from the skaters around him, but he still struggled with consistency during his time in San Jose. Among the 43 NHL goalies who played in at least 30 games this season, Georgiev, per MoneyPuck, was 42nd in goals saved above expected per 60 (-0.409).

Still, Georgiev enjoyed working with Sharks goalie coach Thomas Speer and firmly believes he can help an NHL team win games.

“It’s good to be a free agent. It’s good to see what’s going to happen this summer,” Georgiev said. “I know I’ve got a lot of good hockey left to play, and I think I made a lot of good steps working with (Speer) this season, it’s been really beneficial.

“It’s business, right? They have their own decisions, and you don’t know what (goes) into them often, so you try not to overthink it.”

  • I never summoned Fubara or Deputy for probe

The Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok-Etteh Ibas (Rtd.), has strongly denied reports circulating on social media claiming that he summoned the suspended Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, and his deputy, Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu, for a meeting on Friday, April 18, 2025.

The denial was contained in an official statement issued Wednesday, April 16, by Sir Dede Sampson Friday, Permanent Secretary from the Office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

“The Rivers State Government has become aware of fraudulent announcements circulating on social media, falsely attributed to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government. These malicious fabrications are designed to mislead the public, create panic, and disrupt the peace in Rivers State.”

One such fake announcement, the government said, falsely alleged that Governor Fubara and his deputy had been summoned to appear before the Sole Administrator at the Government House to give explanations over appointments and other state matters.

The state government categorically dismissed the announcement as FAKE, stressing that it did not originate from any official source.

“The Rivers State Government categorically states that this announcement is fake and did not originate from any official source. The public is urged to disregard this and any similar misinformation, as they are the work of troublemakers seeking to destabilize the state.”

The statement adds that to prevent further misinformation, the public is advised to rely only on verified communication channels, including: The official Rivers State Government website: www.riversstate.gov.ng

It mentioned that authorized social media handles include Rivers State Government (Facebook) while others are under review for relaunch

For additional inquiries, the public was encouraged to contact the Office of the SSG directly via +234 913 574 8442. The government urged citizens to verify all information before sharing and emphasized the need for unity and calm during this critical period in the state’s political climate.
