HARRISBURG, Pa. (TCN) — Police have arrested a couple after finding a woman deceased inside their apartment.
According to the Harrisburg Bureau of Police, on the night of Thursday, Aug. 29, officers responded to a home on Pine Street to a report of an assault. Police spoke with the residents, 42-year-old Kyle Burton and 36-year-old Chanice Burton.
During a further search of the home, officers found the body of a deceased adult woman, identified by WHP-TV as 26-year-old Allie McFadden. Detectives and forensics personnel launched an investigation that continued throughout the night. As a result, authorities charged Kyle Burton and Chanise Burton with criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and conspiracy for both offenses.
Police did not say how the victim died, but according to WHP, an autopsy was set for Sept. 3.
