OzHadou Nationals is back for its 18th installment and the event is kicking off in Bankstown, Australia.
Notable players participating include Freeser, Rumours, Chawan, Poderoso, Rest, TNS|Yurikov, Schenkhan, Sole, Bobby, McCheese, Tweed|Saf, LRE|Akame and many more.
The main game tournament lineup at this year’s event consists of Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, Guilty Gear Strive, Mortal Kombat 1, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, Under Night In-Birth 2 [Sys:celes], King of Fighters 15 (for which it is an SNK World Championship qualifier event) and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
Entrants-wise, Tekken 8 leads the charge at almost 130 participants followed by Street Fighter 6 at just under 120 players. Guilty Gear Strive falls just short of 60 competitors while Under Night In-Birth 2 [Sys:celes] rose above 40 people. Mortal Kombat 1, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, King of Fighters 15 and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 all sit at more than 30 entrants.
There are also plenty of side events, including brackets for Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike, Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2, Dragon Ball FighterZ, BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Samurai Shodown, Skullgirls: 2nd Encore, Pokkén Tournament DX, Killer Instinct and Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown.
Streaming is being done at OzHadou, OzHadou 2nd, OzHadou 3rd, Aus Kombat, Anteiku Oceania, Oce3S, The Rowdy Howdy, Pokken Australia, Fishel FGC, Skullgirls Oceania and TajGarou.
