Manchester United are currently languishing in 14th place in the Premier League, closer to the relegation zone than top four.
Ruben Amorim’s side are just eight points clear of 18th-place Leicester City and 11 points behind fourth-place Arsenal.
With only six wins from 18 league matches, United have suffered eight defeats this season.
The team is on a three-match losing streak in all competitions, and their struggles continues with a Boxing Day loss to Wolves.
Bruno Fernandes was sent off early in the second half, and Matheus Cunha scored directly from a corner to give Wolves the lead.
Hwang Hee-Chan’s injury-time goal sealed a 2-0 win for Wolves, leaving United with little hope of an equaliser.
Amorim now faces a monumental task as his team’s form continues to falter in the Premier League.
United’s next two fixtures, against Newcastle at home and away to Liverpool, will be crucial for Amorim’s side.
The Red Devils also suffered a Carabao Cup quarter-final exit to Tottenham last week and a 3-0 loss to Bournemouth.

Owen Hargreaves, as per The Peoples Person, expressed concerns about United’s lack of attacking play.
“As soon as I saw the team, I said this won’t be easy. And it wasn’t.
“They don’t create any sense of play; they don’t look like scoring.”
Hargreaves also criticised Amorim’s rotating lineup, saying, “Right now, you never know who’s gonna play.
“There’s so many different players rotating all the time.”
He added, “This is a team that’s in a relegation battle.”
Despite this, Hargreaves praised Amorim’s communication skills.
Hargreaves stated “The only saving grace they’ve got is a really good manager.
He’s a brilliant communicator, but it’s gonna be a lot harder than he thought.”
Hargreaves concluded, “They’re gonna have to give him time. He’s a great manager.”
The key to stability at United will be Amorim settling with a set eleven.
It will of course, take time.
There’s no magic wand.
With time and players hopefully remaining fit, United fans will be hoping to see a set eleven that starts most matches.
