Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Cross River State, Comrade Asu Okang on a Wednesday morning at the Ministry Office.

Celebrating the grand award from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Comrade Asu Okang, Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Cross River State revealed that the award came as a result of his ingenious roadmap well crafted as the Cross River State Youth Multi-Sectoral program document.

Certification of the UNESCO Award

The document which he said had undergone an appraisal from the The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), CUSO International and other international agencies and organizations and as such gained from the UNFPA all the needed technical and as well financial assistance by way of publication of over 20,000 of that document.

The Multi-Sectoral Youth document which in itself is worth over two billion naira (₦2,000,000,000) which has a well structured plan with youth involvement in various sectors of the economy, ranging from Agriculture to the Oil and Gas sector.

Responding to the award conferred on the Honourable Commissioner, Comr. Eno Okoi Samuel the Youth Liaison Officer to the Governor Yakurr Local Government,
