Key Functional Areas:
Responsible for overall management of the manufacturing processes as well as pre and post manufacturing support functions and activities.
Manage monthly as well as annual metrics to support operation productivity, quality, food safety, delivery and H&S.
Ensure compliance and accuracy on Procedures, Systems and Processes
Ensure accurate and efficient Inventory Management
Report on performance measures on a predetermined frequency
Lead a team of motivated Supervisors and Managers in a customer focussed and efficiency driven environment
Responsible for continuous improvement, management of best practices, documenting standard work, and ensuring highest possible levels of productivity.
Drive the implementation of as well as compliance with the company Food Safety, Quality and HSE programs.
Manage third party service providers.
Manage costs against budgets set.
Ensure site is appropriately staffed and functions are covered based on shift schedule.
Manage team by effectively reviewing and providing feedback on KPI’s.
Training
Management of Logistics into and out of the site
Required prior learning/ experience:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required
5- 10 years' People management experience is required
5- 10 years' Production Management and leadership experience in a FMCG manufacturing environment.
Experience in implementing world class manufacturing practices
