OnePlus is holding a big event on February 7. The company will introduce its latest flagship, the OnePlus 11 to global markets including India. Besides the new phone, the company is also expected to introduce a couple of more products in India. It will launch the OnePlus 11R, a new Smart TV, OnePlus Keyboard, and its first tablet, the OnePlus Pad. The latter can also make an appearance on more markets, while the OnePlus 11R and the TV will likely be exclusive to India. The OnePlus Pad had its design revealed before thanks to a set of leaked renders. Now, there is one more image that confirms the phone with its unique Oreo-Style camera.
OnePlus Pad confirmed with unique design
A new image comes from the popular leakster Evan Blass. It gives us a better look at the phone and its unique camera. Okay, if you look at the device you probably won’t find anything special. But believe in me, this is not common on tablets. It’s not easy to find a circular camera placed in the middle. The recently-released tablets have the camera mounted in one of the corners. So in this aspect, the OnePlus Pad has a innovative design.
Gizchina News of the week
There’s a big circle at the top middle of the OnePlus Pad rear. The circle houses the main camera and there is an LED flash below. Curiously, this design makes the tablet look like a smartphone that had its sides stretched. Honestly, I don’t have anything against this design, but I’m curious to see if users will approve. There is an obvious advantage in this design. It will be better to position the camera when you’re recording something.
The OnePlus Pad appears, once again, in the green color option. This seems to be the signature color for the tablet as it is for the OnePlus 11. So if you get a Green OnePlus 11, then you’ll be able to match it with a green OnePlus Pad. As per the old renders, there will be a black color as well. The device display has slim bezels, and it seems to bet on the glass sandwich design. Interestingly, the previous render revealed that the main camera is tucked on one of the side bezel – that if you use the tablet in the portrait mode. If you use it in the landscape, it will be like a top-center camera.
The new tablet is rumored to come with a 8,840 mAh battery with 67W fast-charging. Other details as display, CPU, RAM, Storage and Camera details are still a mystery. It’s not common, but apparently, OnePlus will be able to hide this tablet’s specs until the date.
