Recruitment is crucial for Manchester United this season after years of questionable squad building.
£600 million was spent under Erik ten Hag, with not much done to shift out players who had served at the club for several years.
Ruben Amorim won’t only be seeking new signings but also outgoings to shape the squad to his style.
Balancing the books and creating room for fresh faces will be key to rebuilding the team effectively.
One player whose future has come under scrutiny is Marcus Rashford, with interest emerging from abroad.
According to journalist Gökmen Özcan, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to reunite with Rashford at Besiktas.

Solskjaer, recently appointed as Besiktas manager, has made Rashford his “crazy transfer target” this month.
The 27-year-old forward has been linked with moves to Barcelona and AC Milan in recent weeks.
However, neither club has made concrete steps to secure Rashford’s signature from Old Trafford.
Multiple reports suggest Rashford could still stay at his boyhood club despite ongoing speculation.

Yet Ozcan claims Solskjaer is “personally interested” in bringing the England international to Turkey.
The Norwegian coach is reportedly planning a strong end to the January transfer window at Besiktas.
Solskjaer addressed Manchester United-related transfer questions earlier this week, hinting at his ambitions.
While a move to Besiktas may seem unlikely, Solskjaer’s admiration for Rashford remains clear.
It remains to be seen if United would sanction such a deal during this critical stage of their season.
It would come as a massive shock is Rashford departs to Besiktas, considering his age and current ability.
Solskjaer won his first game in charge on Wednesday, with a 4-1 win over Athletic Club in the Europa League.
