Serie A club Udinese have confirmed that Maduka Okoye has successfully undergone surgery after sustaining a wrist injury during the team’s league match against Genoa last week.
The procedure was performed by Dr. Loris Pegoli at the La Madonnina Clinic in Milan, according to the club.

Okoye, 24, is set to begin his rehabilitation and will be away from action for several weeks.
Recall that Okoye became Udinese’s first-choice goalkeeper in the latter part of last season, playing a pivotal role in avoiding the drop.
So far this season, Okoye has featured in 14 league matches for the team.
