AKAMKPA NYSC Passing Out Ceremony: Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development Cross River State thanked the management, staff and students for their show of Patriotism and sacrifice of their academic calendar to host Batch A Stream 1 and 2 Youth Corps members.
The Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development Cross River State and Board Chairman of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) CRS board chairman Comrade Asu Okang while addressing Youth Corp members passing out of their orientation camp today at the College of Education Akamkpa, applauded the management, staff and students of the college for their patience, understanding and patriotism in the sacrifice of adjusting their academic calendar to host the camp in Cross River State as Obubra which serves as the permanent site for the exercise if undergoing an intensive renovations.

He assured the management of the NYSC that Obubra will be ready to host it’s corpers for the next batch as about 70% of the renovation exercise is reached.
He employed the Corp members to take advantage of the tourism potentials offered in the State.
“The garment factor offers ample opportunities for internship and you could make use of that“, he stressed.
