February 18 2025 MANHATTAN, New York – NYPD Officer shot in the arm during a stand off with a barricaded suspect on the Lower East Side Manhattan.
Police say they executed a search warrant at a NYCHA building on Madison Street around 5am this morning. Before suspect barricaded himself inside, police say he fired shots.
It is unknown how officer got shot at this time, suspect was taken into custody around 9:30am.
