Christian Millet, 23, was arrested after confessing to the heinous crime and charged with second-degree murder for the killing.
Millet is reported to have stabbed his roommate multiple times with an ice pick over an argument about food before chopping up the elderly victim in a bath tub in their shared apartment in a Lower East Side NYCHA building.
A passing boat spotted a suitcase floating in a NYC waterway and alerted authorities around 5:30 p.m. on February 6, 2025, cops said
Mr Millet was seen handcuffed and escorted by detectives out of the 7th Precinct in lower Manhattan to a waiting jail transport vehicle.
