The Governor of Ebonyi, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has congratulated four Ebonyi indigenes who were recently elevated to the ranks of Generals in Nigerian Army, urging them to sustain the gallantry and patriotism to the protection of Nigeria’s territorial sovereignty.
They are Major- General Emmanuel Otu; Brigadier- General Igwe Omoke; Brigadier -General Ogbonnaya Igwe and Brigadier -General -Charles Nwonyi
In his congratulatory message, Governor Nwifuru expressed immense pride for the dedication shown by the illustrious sons of the state which earned them national recognition.
“It is with great pride and heartfelt appreciation that I extend my warmest congratulations on your recent promotion to the rank of Generals”.
The Governor said their dedication, professionalism and patriotism earned them the promotion.
“This recognition is a testament to your exceptional dedication, discipline, and service to our nation.
“Your unwavering commitment to duty, leadership in challenging situations, and exemplary professional standards have earned you the respect and admiration of your colleagues and the gratitude of all those you serve.
“Your promotion is not just an individual accomplishment but a reflection of the values and strength that define our Armed Forces. As you step into this new role, I have no doubt you will continue to uphold the highest standards of honour, courage, and service that inspire us all”.
