HEIR got a dominant win over the 5 star Cougars. Quarterback Maddux Sua showed out with four passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown. Players Khye Sumlin, Tyree Bellinger, and Tayshawn Stephens all secured touchdowns from Sua. Running backs Joseph Kennerly and Kingston Bates both scored multiple touchdowns, and Jamari Miller also dominated in the running game. On defense, Jayden Dickerson got in the backfield countless times on the defensive line. Linebackers Julian Carey, Reno Verde, Joseph Kennerly, Kingston Bates, and Jamari Miller all contributed to the 48-0 shutout win over the 5 star Cougars.
Benson Bruins 41, NW Grizzlies 10U 0
The Bruins had an exciting day in their win over the NW Grizzlies. Chunky Taauu got the offense started with a rushing touchdown. Ryan Cruz scored a rushing touchdown. Jayden Mendoza threw a couple of touchdowns on the day, with one to Alex Nieves-Leon and one to Savion Brown. Brown went on to score on an impressive touchdown run, as they would cruise to victory 41-0 over the Grizzlies.
CD Panthers 24, Parkland Raiders 19
The CD Panthers 10U posted a brotherhood win over a tough Parkland Raiders squad. The Panthers fought from beginning to end never let up. Quarterback LJ Castillo and receiver Cortez Foster started off hot connecting for two touchdowns. On defense, The Panthers recorded three interceptions, with two of them coming by way of Castillo and Foster. Kendrick Chappell also had a rushing touchdown and racked up a nice amount of yards. Last but not least Castillo connected with Zayvion Jones for the game winning touchdown with just over a minute left in the fourth quarter. CD had a great defensive stand on last drive of game to seal the deal.
